Vikings-49ers features only one former Cardinals player

Ifeadi Odenigbo spent a month with the Cardinals in 2018.

Last week in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs, we pointed out how many former Arizona Cardinals players there were on the rosters of each team playing one another. We do the same for the divisional round games today.

The first game on the schedule, however, doesn’t have much. The San Francisco 49ers host the Minnesota Vikings and, between the two rosters, there is only one former Cardinals player.

Who is it?

Vikings DE Ifeadi Odenigbo

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Odenigbo spent a month on the Cardinals’ roster in 2018. He was claimed off waivers and then cut a month later. He played in one game and had one tackle. He had seven sacks this season for the Vikings, including one in each of the final three games of the regular season.

And that is it for the former Cardinals on the rosters of the Vikings and 49ers.
