The BIG3 are giving fans a new opportunity to be a long-term part of the league. The league will launch Forever Experience Action Tokens (FEAT) at 11 a.m. ET on June 10, league sources told Yahoo Sports. The BIG3, a 3-on-3, halfcourt basketball league founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz, already announced an ownership model that allowed the crypto community to purchase a stake in the 12 teams through NFTs. The FEATs expand these opportunities.

Weezer, Ice Cube, Marshmello to perform at NFL Draft in Las Vegas

Raiders may not have a pick until late in day two of the draft, Weezer, Ice Cube, and Marshmello offer reasons for local fans to attend.

The NFL Draft has been a big party in recent years, especially since moving it out of Radio City Music Hall and to various cities across the country. This year it is being held at party central in Las Vegas where the Raiders now call home. Today they announced the lineup of performers for each day of the draft and it’s a good one.

Even though the Raiders don’t make their first pick until late in day two, the NFL is giving local fans plenty of reasons to attend.

Wrapping up day one of the draft Thursday night will be Weezer. Following the third round to wrap up day two on Friday night will be self-dubbed ‘President of the Raider Nation’ Ice Cube. And wrapping up the final round of the draft on day three will be Marshmello.

Cube and Marshmello have both performed at Raiders games since they arrived in Las Vegas. Cube had previously performed at games in Oakland prior to the team’s relocation.

All performances will occur at the Draft Theater, which will be located behind the High Roller and the LINQ, adjacent to Caesars Forum.

General fan viewing is FREE with NFL.com/OnePass registration. Viewing is on a first-come-first-serve basis and is standing room only.

The first episode will chronicle Barnes’ journey from NBA “bad boy” to becoming an entrepreneur and community activist. The episode will feature interviews with Barnes’ father and friends, including Stephen Jackson and Ice Cube. “It’s important to tell athletes’ stories from our perspective,” say Barnes. “Being in the NBA for 14 years taught me first hand why it’s so necessary for us to control our narrative.”

WATCH: Ice Cube talks Larry Bird, Celtics ire as Los Angeles Lakers fan growing up

The famed rapper and actor opened up an interesting window into an intense era of competition between the two clubs.

It is not every day that one comes across famed rapper Ice Cube talking at length about Boston Celtics legendary small forward Larry Bird, but the former N.W.A. member and founder of the three-on-three basketball league The Big3 made an appearance on the CLNS Media podcast “Basketball Time Machine” to do just that.

Joining host Sean David, Ice Cube touched on a number of Celtics and Celtics-adjacent topics when discussing the league he grew up watching in the 1980s. A South Central native, O’Shea Jackson (as Ice Cube’s birth certificate reads) grew up a Los Angeles Laker fan with hatred for and respect of the Hick From French Lick.

Check out the exceptionally rare interview to get a window into one of the greatest rivalries in the history of sports from one of hip hop’s most iconic figures in the video embedded below.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar demands stronger fight against anti-Semitism

SportsPulse: In a recent column for The Hollywood Reporter, NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar speaks about the anti-Semitic remarks from Stephen Jackson, DeSean Jackson and Ice Cube and questions why there wasn’t more outrage from the sports and entertainment world.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is concerned that …

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is concerned that the anti-Semitic views spouted by former NBA player and activist Stephen Jackson, along with NFL player DeSean Jackson, can lead to what he fears most: “apathy to all forms of social justice,” which he dubbed the “Apatholypse.” As part of his columnist role at The Hollywood Reporter, the former Los Angeles Lakers and UCLA Bruins star center took both Jacksons to task, along with Big3 founder Ice Cube for his own insensitive social media threads, in a piece titled “Where is the Outrage Over Anti-Semitism in Sports and Hollywood?”

The Big 3 will delay a quarantined, …

The Big 3 will delay a quarantined, reality show 3-on-3 pre-season basketball tournament from this month to either August or September because of ongoing concerns about the novel coronavirus, a person familiar with the developments told USA TODAY Sports. The Big 3, which originally planned to begin its fourth season on June 20 in Memphis, is aiming to start the season in either the fall or the winter, the person added. “It’s a fluid situation,” a person familiar with the situation told USA TODAY Sports. “It’s hard to provide a fixed date, but it’s happening.”
