The UCLA Bruins football team underwent a big loss after tight end Hudson Habermehl tore his ACL during Spring Practice.
It caused UCLA to go to the transfer portal and try and find other tight ends, including one from Arizona State.
However, Habermehl has successfully undergone surgery and took to social media to make the announcement:
“Surgery was successful! Thank you Dr. ElAttrache and his staff for the amazing hospitality and procedure. Another thank you to everyone for all of the love and support! Looking forward to rehabbing and cheering on the guys this upcoming season. Go Bruins!”
Habermehl has a long road ahead as he works to recover from the torn ACL, but it appears his spirits are good after a tough injury during Spring football.
Running back Troy Leigber and defensive back Donavyn Pellot also suffered torn ACLs during Spring Practice, which isn’t a positive sign for the Bruins program.
