The Stanley Cup Qualifiers are here and what an amazing weekend of hockey we had and we can expect so much more! With the new playoff format for this season, we could see as many as 52 games over a nine-day stretch from now until August 9th.
The playoffs will take place in two hub cities, Toronto and Edmonton, with the Eastern Conference teams playing in Toronto and the Western Conference teams playing in Edmonton.
“There’s a chance that this is as good of hockey as I’ve ever seen,” said Paul Maurice, coach of the Winnipeg Jets.
