Michigan State basketball hits the road on Sunday afternoon looking to remain perfect in Big Ten play this year.
The Spartans head to Northwestern on Sunday, with an opportunity to continue its hot play as of late. Michigan State dominated Washington earlier this week to improve to 13-2 overall and 4-0 in Big Ten play. Michigan State has won eight straight games dating back to the Maui Invitational in November.
Northwestern comes into this game looking to get things back on track. The Wildcats have dropped their last two games, and now are 10-5 overall and 1-3 in Big Ten play.

Michigan State 73, Northwestern 67: I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop with the Spartans, but maybe they’re just simply that good? Northwestern has already proven it can upset a big-time team at home (beat Illinois earlier this year) so this will be a battle. Ultimately, I think the Spartans’ defense is just good enough to earn the win.
