How to watch MSU Basketball vs. Monmouth today: Time, TV channel, Prediction

It’s Michigan State basketball vs. Monmouth tonight from the Breslin Center. Here’s how to watch, including time, and streaming info

Michigan State basketball is once again back in our lives.

The Spartans will open the 2024-25 regular season on Monday in a non-conference matchup against the Monmouth Hawks. Michigan State enters this matchup as a sizeable favorite over the Hawks, but of course nothing is a given after James Madison shocked the Spartans in last year’s season-opening game.

Michigan State was picked to finish No. 5 in the Big Ten preseason poll, and enters the upcoming season with expectations of contending for the league crown. Monmouth was picked to finish No. 8 out of 14 teams in the CAA.

This will be the first game of the regular season for both Michigan State and Monmouth. The Spartans beat a pair of Division II teams in exhibitions matchups, while Monmouth won its lone exhibition game against a Division III foe.

Here’s how to watch the Michigan State basketball game, including time, TV schedule and streaming information:

What channel is Michigan State vs. Monmouth game on today? Time, TV schedule

TV Channel: Big Ten Plus (streaming only)

Start time: 7 p.m. ET

Michigan State vs. Monmouth predictions, picks, odds

Michigan State 78, Monmouth 59: I don’t need to remind Michigan State fans of how last year’s season opener against a small school went, and I’m confident that lightning won’t strike twice against the Spartans. Monmouth will not be a pushover, but I anticipate Michigan State’s talent and defensive ability is too much in a relatively comfortable victory over the Hawks

ODDS: Michigan State -18.5

MSU Basketball vs. Ohio State: Stream, broadcast info, prediction for Sunday

Check out all of the key game details for this matchup between the Spartans and Buckeyes

Michigan State will look to rebound from a disappointing defeat earlier this week in an important Sunday afternoon matchup against Ohio State.

The Spartans enter this game sitting on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble, but another home loss this week could make things dicey. Michigan State is 17-10 overall and 9-7 in Big Ten play this year.

Ohio State comes into this matchup looking to rebound from a road loss to Minnesota on Thursday. Before that, the Buckeyes upset Purdue so despite a lackluster record of 15-12, Ohio State still has some punch in them.

Can Michigan State bounce back from a tough loss earlier this week and beat Ohio State on Sunday? Check out my prediction and all of the key game details for this matchup between the Spartans and Buckeyes below:

Michigan State vs. Gonzaga: Stream, broadcast info, three things to watch, prediction

Michigan State heads west to play Gonzaga in a big-time non-conference matchup tonight — here’s what you need to know for this matchup between the Spartans and Bulldogs

Michigan State basketball will battle Gonzaga in a neutral court non-conference matchup on Friday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

Two of college basketball’s biggest programs will face off in a Veterans Day matchup on the USS Abraham Lincoln in San Diego, Calif. This game between the Spartans and Bulldogs will be arguably one of the top matchups of the early college basketball season.

Michigan State enters this game off a season-opening victory over Northern Arizona on Monday. Gonzaga also took care of business in their opener against North Florida this week.

Michigan State vs. Northern Arizona: Stream, broadcast info, three things to watch, prediction

Michigan State basketball opens the 2022-23 season tonight against Northern Arizona — here’s what you need to know for this matchup between the Spartans and Lumberjacks

Michigan State basketball will host Northern Arizona in their season-opener on Monday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

The Spartans unofficially opened the season last week in an exhibition victory over Grand Valley State. It wasn’t a particularly impressive outing for the Spartans who trailed the Lakers at halftime before pulling away for a double-digit win.

This will also be the first official game of the year for Northern Arizona, who topped SAGU American Indian College in an exhibition matchup last week. The Lumberjacks are projected to finish near the bottom of the Big Sky this year, but surely will be pumped to play a program of Michigan State’s nature in the opener.

Michigan State will look to extend its impressive winning streak to 10 games on Saturday in a home matchup against a reeling Northwestern squad.

Michigan State enters this game 14-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play. The Spartans needed a last-second bucket from Joey Hauser earlier this week to top Minnesota and remain perfect in conference play.

Northwestern has dropped four straight games, with their losing streak beginning against the Spartans on Jan. 2. Northwestern is 8-6 on the season and 1-4 in conference play.

Michigan State basketball will return to the court for the first time in a week on Wednesday in a home matchup against Minnesota.

The Spartans last played on Jan. 5 against Nebraska, with Michigan State losing their game against rival Michigan over the weekend due to COVID-19.

Michigan State enters this matchup on an eight-game winning streak and with a perfect 4-0 mark in conference play. Minnesota, on the other hand, has struggled lately with a pair of blowout losses last week.

This will be the second time the Spartans and Gophers meet this season, with Michigan State topping Minnesota earlier this year, 75-67. Michigan State led by as many as 19 points in that matchup, with Minnesota battling to narrow that lead late in the game.

The Spartans enter this rivalry matchup with wins in their last eight games, and boasting a perfect 4-0 record in Big Ten play. Michigan State is 13-2 overall on the season.

Michigan on the other hand isn’t having as much success this year despite the preseason top 10 ranking. The Wolverines are 7-6 on the year, and have dropped back-to-back games against UCF and Rutgers.
