How to Watch Club America vs. Atlas, Liga MX Clausura Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

Watch Club America vs. Atlas Live Online.

Club America hosts Atlas on Saturday aiming to continue its surge up the Liga MX Clausura ranks. The team returns to Estadio Azteca after a pair of back-to-back road victories. Los Zorros outfoxed Miguel Herrera’s heavyweights 3-0 at home when these teams met during the Apertura campaign in August, but almost three years have passed since Atlas beat America on its own soil.

  • TV: TUDN, ESPN Deportes

Atlas has failed to score in successive league trips to the Azteca, where America holds a 1-1 record during this Clausura campaign. The Apertura runner-up is fourth in the standings after five games and could climb to the summit provided the right results go in its favor during Week 6.

Andres Ibarguen scored in both halves to clinch a 2-1 win away to Queretaro in America’s last fixture, while Saturday’s opponent has suffered defeat in three of its past four matches. Atlas surrendered 3-1 at home to Monarcas Morelia in Week 5 to record its third loss of the campaign, having defeated Tijuana 2-1 at home for its second win of the season prior to that. That was Rafael Puente Jr’s first victory at the helm after he was appointed Atlas chief at the end of January. The 41-year-old is now set for his first away fixture with his new club.

The odds appear stacked in favor of host America on paper, but it’s worth highlighting Herrera & Co. suffered a 3-1 humiliation at home to Juarez in its last outing at Azteca. Atlas will hope to mimic that result and seal its first victory at the Mexico City venue since April 2017. A win for the travelling side could see Puente Jr’s men climb as high as fifth, with the minnows seeking to clinch their first Liga MX title since 1951.

Watch Barcelona vs. Getafe Live Online.

La Liga returns this weekend with Barcelona having the chance to win on Saturday and put pressure on first-place Real Madrid, but it won’t be easy against Getafe, the hottest team in Spanish football.

Barcelona’s win at Real Betis on Sunday was crucial, not just because it kept them close to Real Madrid in the standings, but also because it was Barça’s first away victory in almost three months. It helped the team jump a mental hurdle that it can’t win on the road. Now Barcelona can and the team is back at Camp Nou, where it hasn’t lost a game all season, usually scoring goals in bunches.

The challenge for Barça is to do this against Getafe, the hottest team in La Liga, who has won four in a row without conceding a goal. Getafe is the third-best side on the road and has a very solid defense and an efficient counter-attack. With a Barça team still under construction with new coach Quique Setién that can be open to counters, Getafe has a very simple game plan with the potential to be devastating. This is the game of the weekend in La Liga.

How to Watch Sporting CP vs. Porto, Primeira Liga Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

Watch Sporting CP vs. Porto Live Online.

Porto can move 12 points in front of Sporting CP in the Primeira Liga standings on Sunday if it can win at Estadio Jose Alvalade for the first time since October 2008. More than a decade has passed since the Dragons last triumphed at this venue, but a run of nine wins and one draw means traveling to Lisbon, Portugal bodes well for their chances of ending that drought.

Sporting CP vs. Porto

  • When: Sunday, January 5

Sporting’s recent form has been patchier by comparison, though it is no slouch after winning seven of its last nine matches, keeping clean sheets in all but one of those victories. The Lions have also established a fortress mentality at home in recent months and have won each of their last six games at Jose Alvalade in all competitions, conceding only two goals throughout.

A run at the title looks unlikely for Sporting after its torrid start to the campaign, with the team now third in the table and 13 points off leaders Benfica. Porto is only four points away from the top team, but haven’t been as reliable away from home this season. Manager Sergio Conceicao is yet to see his side surrender a point at Estadio do Dragao, but it’s only won four of seven away games and drew 1-1 at Belenenses last time on the road.

Tiquinho Soares has 10 goals in 23 appearances this season but is responsible for four of Porto’s last eight scored, netting recent braces against Tondela and Chaves. Brazilian forward Luiz Phellype has hit a good streak of form for Sporting and has scored in three of the team’s last four matches. Bruno Fernandes possesses the keys to unlock Porto’s defense from attacking midfield, though the Portugal international also has great finishing ability of his own.

Both Portuguese powerhouses will feature in the last 32 of this season’s UEFA Europa League, with Sporting set to face Istanbul Basaksehir, while Porto takes on a more difficult challenge in Bayer Leverkusen.
