NASCAR silly season has ramped up in the Truck Series, and it now includes the sale of an organization. On Tuesday morning, it was revealed that [autotag]Hettinger Racing[/autotag] has purchased the assets of [autotag]Bret Holmes Racing[/autotag] effective immediately. Brett Moffitt will drive the No. 4 truck for Hettinger Racing to close out the 2024 NASCAR season.
Hettinger Racing will make its Truck Series debut with Moffitt at Martinsville Speedway this weekend. The organization will continue its Late Model program while running select ARCA Menards Series and Truck Series races that best fit the team’s schedule. As for Bret Holmes, he is still looking to race in NASCAR during the 2025 season.
Moffitt is a great resource for Hettinger Racing, as he will be able to provide the organization feedback in its first two races. The 2018 Truck Series champion hasn’t competed much in 2024 but is ready to help Hettinger Racing prepare for 2025. The organization has a long journey ahead, but owner Chris Hettinger is ready for the challenge.
