The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (3-3, 1-1 MWC) travel to meet the Nevada Wolf Pack (4-1, 1-0) Saturday at Mackay Stadium in Reno, Nev. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Hawaii vs. Nevada odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.
The Rainbow Warriors might come in with a .500 record overall, but Hawaii is brimming with confidence after a 27-24 win over Fresno State as 11.5-point underdogs last week in the islands. Hawaii is averaging 34.0 PPG across the past two, while going 3-0 ATS in three straight.
The Wolf Pack worked over a subpar New Mexico State team last week, winning 55-28. Nevada took its foot off the gas in the late stages, turning a convincing 52-7 lead into a backdoor cover for NMSU.

Hawaii at Nevada odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Nevada 41, Hawaii 24
Money line
Nevada (-650) is going to win this game behind its NFL prospect QB Carson Strong, but laying six-and-a-half times your potential return is not a good long-term betting strategy.
AVOID, and look to the spread instead.
Against the spread
NEVADA -13.5 (-120) is a strong play, especially after this line dipped from a flat 14. I could see the Wolf Pack winning by exactly two touchdowns, so that extra half-point makes a difference.
The Wolf Pack have a great offense capable of housing it through the air on every touch. Nevada ranks 7th in the nation with 357.0 passing yards per game, and it’s 22nd in the country with 36.8 PPG.
Over/Under
OVER 60.5 (-115) is a good play based on the passing games of each of these teams. Nevada has a pass-happy offense, with only an occasional run. Hawaii also has a strong pass attack with QB Chevan Cordeiro, and Over bettors love passing teams. Passes stop the clock and allow for more plays, while running teams keep the clock rolling to help Under bettors. Two passing teams are great for the prospects of Over bettors.
