The Kansas City Chiefs recently debuted a new Kingdom Short and it’s all about how they’ve handled the adversity of this unique season. Specifically, they cover the rescheduled game against the New England Patriots and the leadership in the Kansas City locker room. They flashback to the Chiefs’ 2005 season when Hurricane Wilma interrupted a game against the Miami Dolphins, causing the game to be rescheduled on a Friday night. There’s even an exclusive interview with former Chiefs linebacker Derrick Johnson about that game.
Here’s the full description of the latest behind-the-scenes short from the Chiefs’ in-house media production team:
“On this Kingdom Short Presented by GEHA (https://www.geha.com), we hear from the kingdom landlord, discussing how he and his teammates have learned to handle change throughout the 2020 season this far. We also take a trip down memory lane to a very unique Friday Night Lights game, and the hiring of Head Coach Andy Reid.”
