Green Bay already clinched the NFC North crown and can earn the NFC’s No. 1 seed with a win at Chicago or a Seattle Seahawks (11-4) loss at the San Francisco 49ers.
After Week 16’s results, the Bears now control their fate in the NFC playoff picture. If they beat the Packers, they’re in. If they lose, they can still get in but will need the Arizona Cardinals (8-7) to lose at the Los Angeles Rams Sunday. QB Mitchell Trubisky threw for 265 yards and 2 TDs – both to TE Jimmy Graham – vs. 1 interception, and ran for a score to lead Chicago to a 41-17 victory at the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars (1-14) in Week 16. RB David Montgomery (95 rushing yards, 23 carries) and RB Artavis Pierce (26 rushing yards, 2 carries) each ran for a TD as the Bears easily covered the 9.5-point spread.
The Packers beat the Bears 41-25 in their first meeting this season in Week 12 at Lambeau Field. Green Bay covered as an 8.5-point favorite.
