The 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys 23-17 in their NFC Wild Card game. They fired out to a 13-0 lead with 9:40 to go in the second quarter, and led 23-7 heading to the fourth quarter before holding on for the win. San Francisco covered the spread as a 3.5-point underdog and the Under (51) hit.
The Packers were the lone NFC team on a bye, resting bumps and bruises after securing the No. 1 overall seed. Green Bay enters 1-3 against the spread (ATS) across the past four games, while cashing the Over in six of the previous seven outings.

Money line
Green Bay (-240) will cost you 2.4 times your potential return. That’s too risky for a playoff game, even though confidence is high that the Packers will win on their home field.
AVOID.
Against the spread
GREEN BAY -5.5 (-108) is the play. The top-seeded Packers are well rested after two weeks since their last game. Some key players played sparingly in Week 18, too.
This is a double-edged sword as too much rest can lead to a little bit of rust, while the 49ers enter with some momentum after a thrilling win in Dallas last week.
Still, Green Bay has a powerful offense, and it is at home in the frozen tundra. Look for a comfortable Packers win in front of the Cheeseheads.
Over/Under
The lean is to the OVER 47.5 (-103), ever so slightly. While yes, the Under has hit in five of the past six games for the 49ers, and four of the past five against teams with a winning record, it’s the opposite for the Packers.
Green Bay has hit the Over in six of the past seven overall, and five of the past six as a favorite. The Over is also a perfect 7-0 in the past seven Green Bay playoff games, including 4-0 in the past four at home.
A small-unit play on OVER 47.5 (-103) is the way to go.
