Pacers halftime puppy race fails in most adorable, hilarious fashion

So. Many. Good. Dogs.

All dogs are good dogs, even ones that fail to perform their halftime duties correctly.

On Monday, the Indiana Pacers were hosting the Orlando Magic in an early-season Eastern Conference matchup. With the Pacers up 54-45 at the halftime buzzer, Indiana was looking to keep the good vibes rolling with a puppy race at halftime!

Unfortunately for the Pacers cheerleaders and in-arena staff — but fortunately for the rest of us — the puppies in question completely failed at the “racing” part of of the halftime show. Instead, the wonderful selection of good puppies just sat there looking incredibly adorable in their Pacers jerseys while the cheerleaders did everything they could to make them move.

Sure, this may have been a programing fail, but considering how much fun everyone was having on the court, I think it all worked out in the end. Plus, who doesn’t love adorable puppies being adorable?

Once again, the Puppy Bowl pits Team Ruff and Team Fluff — this year coached by Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg, respectively — against each other as they attempt to get all the cutest, most perfect puppies their forever homes.

In order to prepare for the cutest event on television, let’s take a look at some of the superstars on Team Fluff’s roster. They’re obviously all perfect, even if we don’t have the space to highlight every single one of their cute faces. You can check out the Puppy Bowl website for more information on the 118 pups participating this year.

This very good dog was the star of new Vikings linebacker Chazz Surratt’s draft party

Chazz Surratt’s draft party celebrations included this very good dog!

We all love a good sports dog around here! In the midst of the 2021 NFL Draft, we finally got some top tier very good dog content during the Minnesota Vikings third round selection.

On Friday, the Vikings selected linebacker Chazz Surratt out of North Carolina with the No. 78 pick in the draft. As the camera panned to Surratt’s at-home draft party in North Carolina, we got a look at his family and friends celebrating as the pick was announced.

But, more importantly, we also got a great shot of this dog joining in on the celebrations and being the most adorable!

I love how the dog is clearly confused at first as to why everyone was standing and clapping, but they too eventually joined in with some enthusiastic barks.

Thankfully, someone was there to give this very good dog the love and attention they very much deserve. What a lovely moment.
