‘Metal Gear Solid’ creator Hideo Kojima wants to play ‘Deathloop’ even if it makes him sick

Motion sickness can be a total pain.

Deathloop is the talk of the town right now, and even Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding fame couldn’t help jumping on the hype train. Though he’s a little concerned that it’ll, well, make him motion sick.

Deathloop, the latest shooter from developer Arkane Studios, is all about high-flying antics and time travel. It’s the kind of game that’ll surely test your noggin as well as any spatial awareness issues you might have. Kojima, who’s known for mind-bending games himself, is eager to give Deathloop a try. The trouble is, he’s not sure he can handle its first-person perspective.

Deathloop. It’s a time loop game with an interesting system,” Kojima said on Twitter. “I want to play it, but it’s an FPS, and I’ll probably get 3D-sick. Hmmm.”

He went on to claim that beyond FPS games, loads of activities make him sick: swings, theme park rides, and even riding at the front of buses!

Check out Kojima’s comments for yourself below.

Many of Kojima’s peers and fans shared similar sentiments or tips on how to not hurl while playing Deathloop. Or they chimed in with a cheeky joke

Oh, and the official Deathloop Twitter account had some advice for Kojima too.

Hopefully Kojima can find a way to play, without getting nauseous, of course!

Watch: DrDisrespect gets unbelievable no-scope shot in ‘Call Of Duty: Warzone’

Not even helicopters are safe from the good doctor’s skills.

Have you ever picked off somebody off in Call Of Duty: Warzone while they sit in a helicopter without a care in the world? DrDisrespect has, and he somehow managed to do it without even zooming in on a sniper.

During what was initially a relatively uneventful livestream on Monday, Beahm, along with DrLupoTimTheTatman, and others, witnessed something magical. An enemy helicopter flew by, and Beahm, in his usual never-tell-me-the-odds attitude, fired at it while not even zoomed in. Somehow, someway — he landed the no-scope, and everyone went wild.

Check out the absolutely bananas shot for yourself below.

Many people are calling this Beahm’s best shot ever in Call Of Duty: Warzone, which says something considering he plays at a high level frequently. Watching the clip over again, you can tell even he is surprised that maneuver actually worked.

“He did not no-scope a helicopter,” TimTheTatman said during the livesteam, totally disregarding what just happened. Well, Tim, he most certainly did that.

‘Arrived at Met Gala’ is the latest hilarious meme that gamers have run wild with

Solid Snake and Toad together again on the red carpet.

You don’t need an eye for fashion to appreciate how amusing all of the memes surrounding The Met Gala are, yet no crowd has had fun with it like gamers. From simple, snarky quips about how many of the Gala’s guests look like a certain Kingdom Hearts protagonist to full-blown edits of Final FantasyMetal Gear Solid, and Animal Crossing characters appearing on the red carpet — folks are having fun with this meme.

It wasn’t long before all of this went viral, and soon hundreds of Photoshop savants began, well, adding their favorite characters to the event! From obvious choices like Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII to more obscure name-drops like Yakuza’s Kazuma Kiryu.

So, why don’t we look at some of the more hilarious, and dare I say, outrageous edits made for The Met Gala: Video Game Edition. If you happen to be unfamiliar with any of the characters below, worry not: each section lists which series they’re from!

2021 Global Championship for ‘PUBG: Battlegrounds’ starts November 19

This November, 32 teams will compete for over $2 Million.

PlayerUnknown might’ve taken his leave from PUBG: Battlegrounds, but that hasn’t stopped the battle royale phenomenon from proceeding with its 2021 Global Championships. On Monday, PUBG Esports announced that its massive tournament would begin on Nov. 19.

Like many other prominent esports events this year, the 2021 PUBG Global Global Championships will utilize both LAN and online elements for its tournament structure to ensure the safety of all participants, with teams being invited to Paradise City in Incheon, Korea to participate. The five-week-long event will run from Nov. 19 through Dec. 19, with 32 teams from all over the world competing for a staggering $2 Million.

“The year 2021 was another tough one due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,” reads a statement from the PUBG Esports Team. “But we’ve done our best to continue PUBG Esports globally by hosting PGI.S and 2 PUBG Continental Series events.”

Safe to say that everyone even slightly interested in PUBG: Battlegrounds will tune in this November.

Watch: Delz1k pulls off incredible clutch win during Valorant Champions Tour

Joaquin “delz1k” Espinoza pulls off the unthinkable during the VCT Masters.

The Valorant Champions Tour Masters may have had its wildest play already, as Joaquin “delz1k” Espinoza from KRÜ Esports decimated an entire team by himself on Sunday.

During a match between Zeta Division and KRÜ Esports, Espinoza found himself in a dire situation. The rest of his team were gone, gunned down early by Zeta, who still had four other players on the field — and they just planted the spike. Despite seemingly insurmountable odds, Valorant is a game where one player alone can pull off a win, though, which is exactly what Espinoza did. Slowly creeping his way into the bomb site, then began taking the rest of Zeta out before they knew what hit them.

Check out this fantastic clutch by Espinoza for yourself below.

KRÜ Esports went on to squeak out a victory over Zeta during this match, and it was a brilliant showcase of how exciting Valorant is as an esport.

50 Cent’s ‘Blood On The Sand’ video game was originally a Tom Clancy title

One of the strangest video games ever used to be much different.

50 Cent: Blood On The Sand might be the strangest video game tie-in ever, but what’s even more bizarre is it began as a Tom Clancy game, NME  reported Friday

Back in the good old days of 2009, when the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 were still wildly popular, a little game called 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand came out. Its story involved 50 Cent and his fellow G-Unit members perform a concert in an unspecified Middle Eastern country. And afterward, they’re paid in a diamond-encrusted skull because, of course. Then they get in shootouts with soldiers for some reason? How do you even begin to parse how ridiculous this plot is.

Darren Yeomans, a former Swordfish Studios developer that worked on 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand, claims it began as something much, much different — a Tom Clancy game. For over a year, that’s what the team worked on before everything changed.

Publisher Vivendi “threw in a massive curve-ball,” Yeomans said to NME. “After throwing away several levels, months of work, and re-writing the script.” That’s how the project became 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand.

Check out this unintentionally hilarious trailer for 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand for yourself below.

Talk about a change in creative vision.

The 10 worst video game movie adaptations of all time

One does not simply adapt a video game into a movie.

We’ve all heard of at least one video game flick that plummeted like your firing accuracy in Fortnite when you don’t aim properly and just shoot at random. Not good, right?

This is exactly how a lot of us feel about having watched any of the worst video game movies we’re listing here.

Games and movies both take us into worlds of fantasy and transport our minds into what is then and there. While each medium has its own storytelling techniques, they both have the shared purpose to entertain. But video game movie adaptations seem particularly tricky to pull off. That’s why we’ve seen quite a few really horrendous, comic, or just cringy flicks that used video games as their source material. Here are the worst of the worst.

Respawn delays ‘tap-strafing’ removal from ‘Apex Legends’ after discovering unforeseen side effects

The controversial maneuver isn’t getting axed from the game just yet.

Apex Legends pros were less than pleased over the announcement that ‘tap-strafing’ was getting removed from the game, but that won’t happen anytime soon, it seems. At least not with patch 10.1 as was initially planned.

“The Apex Legends team has recently discovered some unexpected side effects of our planned changes to tap-strafing,” Respawn Entertainment said in a statement on Twitter. “It is still our intention to address some of the most egregious use-cases of tap-strafing, but for now, we are delaying our planned change to a later patch.”

Respawn continued: “Movement is sacred in Apex. We weigh every change to these systems carefully and value feedback. After further testing, we’ve concluded we need to take more time to get this right to make sure related movement mechanics aren’t caught in the cross-fire.”

Respawn, of course, wouldn’t divulge any information as to what those side effects might be, but that hasn’t rampant speculation. The popular theory is that the controversial maneuver is the byproduct of Apex Legend’s physics and momentum engine and that removing it causes other problems. Either way, we likely won’t know unless the developers come out and state why.

David Hayter of ‘Metal Gear Solid’ fame wants to voice Logan in ‘Marvel’s Wolverine’

He’s written X-Men movies and is the actor behind Solid Snake, perfect fit, much?

Have you ever heard of a fan-casting idea that makes so much sense that it’s hard to imagine any other scenario afterward? Well, that’s how loads of people feel about the notion of David Hayter, the voice behind Metal Gear Solid’s  Solid Snake, playing Logan in Marvel’s Wolverine. Not only due to the fact he’s a fantastic voice actor, but also because Hayter co-wrote the first two X-Men movies. For real.

It all began with the  announcement of Marvel’s Wolverine  during Sony’s PlayStation Showcase. Everyone saw the Insomniac Games logo, thinking they were about to witness a teaser for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (which came later). But no, a trademark SNIKT blared through the speakers, and folks went wild: Wolverine is getting his own video game.

However, there’s still no word of who will actually play the titular mutton-chopped hero. But a few fans think Hayter would be perfect for the role, and shockingly, he’s into it.

This tweet sent Metal Gear Solid, Marvel, and Hayter’s fans into a speculative, joyful frenzy.

Exciting though the idea of Hayter voicing Wolverine in the new game might be, keep in mind that this is by no means a casting announcement. However, given his history with the X-Men series and extensive voice acting career, he would be perfect for it. I mean, come on, he’s even Canadian!
