Robert Kraft recalls Gisele Bündchen’s fiery Bill Belichick rant

Gisele Bündchen clearly wasn’t happy with Bill Belichick’s treatment of Tom Brady near the end of the Patriots’ dynasty

The Apple TV+ docuseries “The Dynasty” is giving a deep dive into the New England Patriots’ near 20-year run as the greatest dynasty in sports.

One of the more intriguing subject matters in the story from the rise to inevitable fall of the Patriots was the drama unfolding behind the scenes.

Former Patriots coach Bill Belichick was looking to move on from Tom Brady due to concerns of the legendary quarterback’s age causing a rapid fall-off in production. Owner Robert Kraft recalled private meetings at home with Brady and Gisele Bündchen, Brady’s ex-wife.

One exchange in particular, Kraft remembered a fiery rant from Bündchen relating to Belichick’s treatment of Brady.

“I heard Gisele say, ‘That effin’ Belichick, he doesn’t treat my Tommy like a man,'” Kraft said, per the Boston Globe’s Ben Volin, via NESN’s Jason Ounpraseuth. “I realized how bad the situation was, and I said, ‘Tommy, if you want to go, I’ll work it out so you can go.'”

Brady went on to lead the Patriots to another championship at Super Bowl LIII, before finally parting ways with New England in 2020.

Both Brady and Bündchen would ultimately have the last laugh with Brady joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and leading that organization to a Super Bowl victory in his first year with the team.

Here’s what Tom Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, said after his retirement

Gisele Bündchen commented on Tom Brady’s retirement on Wednesday.

Tom Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, commented on the former New England Patriots quarterback’s retirement on Wednesday, after the seven-time Super Bowl champion uploaded a video announcing he was walking away from football “for good.”

“Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life,” Bündchen posted on Brady’s Instagram.

Brady and Bündchen finalized their divorce after 13 years of marriage back in October.

News of Brady’s retirement comes a year after his first retirement in 2022. However, after watching his video upload, it’s hard imagining him changing his mind and returning to football for another year.

Today obviously belongs to Brady after a tremendous NFL career. He will go down in the history books as the greatest football player of all time, as he leaves behind a slew of records for current and future quarterbacks to chase.

They’ll probably be chasing ghosts with many of those records seemingly looking unbreakable.

Tom Brady posts hilarious response to a video of Gisele in self-defense class

Tom Brady is ridiculously good at social media.

Tom Brady seems ready to clean up his dirty habits. The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback had the funniest post about Gisele Bundchen practicing self-defense in what appears to be the art of Muay Thai.

Bundchen posted to Twitter on Wednesday to share how she feels “stronger, more confidence and empowered” since she started “practicing self-defense.” Brady, meanwhile, had a slightly different takeaway from seeing his wife trying to yank the head off her sparring partner.

“My days of leaving dishes in the sink are numbered…,” Brady wrote after quote-retweeting his wife’s video.

Too perfect.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen sell NYC luxury apartment for $37 million

Tom Brady wasn’t lying about his full-time departure from the Northeast.

Remember when Tom Brady said he wouldn’t be caught ‘dead living in the Northeast’ again? He’s holding true to that promise.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback rented Derek Jeter’s home when he made the move down to Florida. Brady, originally from the sunny state of California, went on record multiple times saying he wouldn’t move back up north — solidifying the fact he wouldn’t rejoin the New England Patriots.

Well, he finally sold his Brookline mansion this past week, shoring up this promise. On Tuesday, Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen sold their New York City apartment for a whopping $37 million.

The couple purchased the NYC apartment for $28.5 million in 2018 and they flipped it for an incredible return. According to the New York Post, they will still keep a smaller residence in the city.

Now, Brady and Bündchen are building their dream home in Miami in the exclusive Indian Creek Island.

Tom Brady, Gisele play the ‘Couples Challenge,’ and the QB is clearly the diva in the family

Which one has more clothes? Tom Brady, of course.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady played the “Couples Challenge” with his wife Gisele Bundchen, and they were pretty darn adorable.

What’s the “Couples Challenge”? It’s an exercise on Tik Tok where a couple is asked a series of questions about each other with their eyes closed. An example: Who is most stubborn? They answer the question by pointing silently at the person who is most stubborn. Sometimes, they agree. Sometimes, they don’t.

It seemed like they were on the same page for most of the questions. Who had the most clothes? Brady. Who eats more? Gisele. Who’s more spoiled? Brady. Who’s the bigger baby when sick? Brady. Who requires more attention? Brady. Who spends more money? Brady. Who is more annoying when hungry? Gisele.

But then they disagreed on a few. When asked who is more stubborn, they pointed to other. When asked who drives better, they again pointed at the other. When asked who eats healthiest, they each pointed at themselves.

Certainly, there were a few surprising revelations about their relationship, with one being that the QB is clearly the biggest diva in the family. Tis silliness comes after Brady opened up about a rough patch in his relationship with Gisele during a recent interview on Howard Stern.

Tom Brady explains football left Gisele unsatisfied with their marriage

“She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage, and I needed to make a change.”

Tom Brady admitted that his job was getting in the way of his marriage. The quarterback had committed deeply to his work for the New England Patriots, and it was showing in unfortunate ways as a husband and a parent.

It left Brady and his wife Gisele in a bad place. Gisele penned Brady what he called a “heartfelt letter,” which Brady still has and reads to this day.

“She wasn’t satisfied with our marriage, so I needed to make a change in that,” Brady told Howard Stern on Sirius XM on Wednesday. “Her point was, ‘Of course this works for you. It all works for you. But it doesn’t work for me.’ … The point of a relationship is that it has to work for both.”

Brady explained a situation where he wasn’t contributing in the ways he should. And so he had to scale back his contributions to football in order to be a better father and a better husband. Brady, of course, was doggedly pursing his goals to continue winning Super Bowls. But in turn, Gisele’s ambitions took a backseat. Apparently, that wasn’t working for the humanitarian and retired supermodel.

“A couple years ago, she didn’t feel like I was doing my part for the family,” Brady said. “She felt like I was playing football all season, and she would take care of the house. And then all of the sudden the season would end and I would say, ‘Let me get into my business projects. Let me get into my football training.’ And she’s sitting there and saying, ‘Well when are you going to take care of the house? When are you going to take the kids to school?’ And that was a big part of our marriage that I had to check myself, because she has goals and dreams, too.”

Brady scaled back his offseason work by electing to skip the voluntary workouts during the offseason with the Patriots. Even more so, Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this offseason, a team that’s notoriously lax, especially when compared to the Patriots. It seems family is taking a greater priority for Brady as he wraps up his football career.
