Where does Georgia football rank in the latest Amway Coaches Poll?
Georgia beat Mississippi State 31-24 on Saturday night behind a big game from JT Daniels in his UGA debut.
The game itself was a disappointing one for the Dawgs, beating a bad Mississippi State team by only a touchdown. Daniels threw for 401 yards, 4 touchdowns and no interceptions, while connecting with Jermaine Burton and George Pickens a combined 16 times for 284 yards and 3 touchdowns.
However, optimism is actually in the air for Georgia fans knowing that they might finally have a quarterback who can move the ball down the field.
Georgia entered Saturday’s contest ranked No. 11 in the Amway Coaches Poll, and after last night’s win the Dawgs moved up to No. 10.
Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Clemson still make up the top four, with Florida sitting at No. 5.
SEC fans should prepare for a thrilling, high-scoring SEC Championship Game between the Gators and Crimson Tide.
