Genshin Impact will remove Tighnari’s English voice actor

Following allegations of sexual misconduct with underage children Genshin Impact voice actor Elliot Gindi will be removed from the game

Following allegations of sexual misconduct with underage children and grooming, Genshin Impact voice actor Elliot Gindi will be removed from the game’s subsequent updates, HoYoverse announced on Twitter.

Gindi voiced Tighnari in the game’s English version, and the HoYoverse team said they are working with a voice recording agency to begin the process of replacing Tighnari’s existing lines with work from another actor, though they provided no timeline for when this might happen.

Allegations surfaced that Gindi used his position to connect with underage fans and conduct inappropriate relationships with them, including asking for sex and promising to wait until they were older. HoYoverse didn’t allude to these allegations directly and only said the termination was for “breach of contract.”

Gindi admitted to some of the misconduct in a post, but denied ever engaging in overtly sexual conduct in streams or with fans – despite uncensored images of explicit conversations with a 13-year-old on Discord surfacing that allegedly show Gindi asking for sex and threatening suicide after the teenager said how old they were.

Alejandro Saab, who voices Cyno in Genshin Impact, also said he discovered Gindi was using his name to lure fans in under false pretenses. Several of the game’s other voice actors also spoke out, including Zach Aguilar, who voices the male protagonist.

“Disappointed and angry,” Aguilar said on Twitter. “I have removed the stream with Elliot and will no longer be associating with him. I refuse to give someone like this a platform in any way. To use your power this way over fans is disgusting and shameful. My heart goes out for the victims of this situation.”

Voice actors and fans met the news from HoYoverse with relief and satisfaction, thanking the developer for taking action.

Where to watch the Genshin Impact 3.5 livestream

The Genshin Impact 3.5 livestream is coming up fast. Here’s when and where you can watch the open-world RPG’s latest update

The Genshin Impact 3.5 livestream is coming up fast, bringing with it details about the open-world RPG’s next update, including new 5-star character Dehya, events, and more. The Genshin 3.5 banners will also make an appearance, and we’ll see what HoYoverse has in store for the story as we ease into that quiet space between Lantern Rite and the next major update. The prevailing rumors suggest we’ll be heading back to Mondstadt for a new festival, but whether that’s true, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Genshin Impact: Yun Jin best builds, weapons and artifacts

Here are all of the weapons and artifacts you should equip to Genshin Impact’s Yun Jin in order to form the perfect Support role.

Yun Jin is back in the Genshin Impact character banners, appearing during update 3.4. You can also claim her for free during the Liyue Lantern Rite Festival in this game version, if you want. As an opera singer, the Geo polearm wielder is more artistically inclined, but she also knows how to act elegantly on the field of battle, inspiring fellow fighters to even greater deeds. We’ll show you the best Genshin Impact Yun Jin build in this guide.

Yun Jin focuses on supporting teams with characters of many different elemental types, which certainly makes her a bit of a niche character. This is mainly due to her Elemental Burst, which increases the normal attack damage of all squad members based on Yun Jin’s Defense value, in tandem with the Breaking Conventions talent, which increases this bonus for every element present in the squad.

Her Elemental Skill, in turn, lets the fragile-looking artist become a badass tank: Holding down the corresponding button, Yun Jin creates a shield around herself while charging up a heavy strike. This shield can withstand even the strongest attacks and makes her the perfect blocker.

HoYoverse announces Genshin Impact 3.4 release date and characters

The Genshin Impact 3.4 release date is coming up fast, with two new characters, an annual party, a Genius Invokation TCG event, and more

The Genshin Impact 3.4 release date is coming up fast, as HoYoverse gears up to celebrate the RPG’s annual Lantern Rite Festival once more. Genshin Impact 3.4 releases on Jan. 18, 2023, and runs for six weeks until around March 1, 2023. The 5-star Dendro swordsman Alhaitham will headline the update’s first round of character banners, with Xiao, the Anemo polearm user, making his fourth return.

New Dendro healer Yaoyao also joins as a 4-star character. The update’s second half sees the return of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor director Hu Tao and the mysterious spy Yelan. This will be Yelan’s first rerun since she debuted in early 2022.

The Lantern Rite Festival is Genshin 3.4’s flagship event, a celebration of the new year in Liyue Harbor with several mini-games, a limited-time Genius Invokation TCG event, and smaller events running alongside it and the chance to earn Primogems to spend on those new banners.

One of the events will let you invite a 4-star Liyue character of your choice, including Yaoyao, and as always with the festival, HoYoverse is giving out 10 free Intertwined Fates – Genshin speak for items you can use on character banners.

On the story side, a new region of the Sumeru desert is open for exploration, sending you into the Red Sands’ violent storms to search for the Magic Bottle and maybe even find the oasis where legends say the gods stopped time so they could be together. You need to complete Golden Slumber first, though.

Finally, you can get two new character skins – one for Lisa, which you get for taking part in the update’s events, and one for Ayaka, which costs real-world money.

They are part of the contingent of 30 cards that make up a deck alongside the three characters, along with support cards, talent cards and equipment cards. How important an event card ultimately is to you in a given situation is determined by the state of the current game, as well as the makeup of the deck you are using. Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG: Best Support Cards

Even the strongest character cards need the best support they can get.

Character cards are the stars of the best decks in Genius Invokation TCG, the brand new card game within Genshin Impact. These are the best support cards in Genius Invokation TCG.

Genshin Impact TCG: Best Support Cards in Genius Invokation

This list doesn’t follow any particular order, because how important a support card ends up being for you in a given situation is decided by the state of the current game, as well as the makeup of the deck you’re using. However, the cards listed have one thing in common: they are always useful and should be present in most decks with at least one copy.

In a game of Genius Invokation TCG, you can have a maximum of four support cards on the field at the same time. However, since many have a limited action count or lifespan, problems with space usually take care of themselves.
