On Thursday evening, Wisconsin football extended a preferred walk-on offer to 2022 kicker and punter Gavin Lahm per an announcement on his Twitter.

Lahm attended the Badgers’ specialist camp in late June, and it looks like the Kaukauna, Wisconsin, native turned heads in his time in Madison. He has played the last few seasons for Kaukauna High School and even kicked a 50-yard field goal in a game last year.
The in-state kicker is one of the first special teams offers for the Badgers in the class of 2022.
After a great call with @tmehlhaff10 I’d like to say that I have received my first D1 offer!!!(PWO) @CoachHaering @BadgerFootball @coachripshwtime #OnWisconsin pic.twitter.com/SqA4VL4Qa3
