It may have felt more like six months, but the Atlanta Falcons reopened their Flowery Branch facility on Tuesday after it was closed for 67 days due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

It may have felt more like six months, but the Atlanta Falcons reopened their Flowery Branch facility on Tuesday after it was closed for 67 days due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Things won’t exactly be back to normal, though, as Falcons president Rich McKay indicated the facility will slowly phase in the different coaching staffs in accordance with county and NFL guidelines.

“We want to understand all of the protocols,” said McKay over a conference call. “How they are going to operate. What do we need to change? How can we make it as safe as an environment as it can be. That’s how we started. We are pretty comfortable with that.”

The team’s Twitter account shared a video of McKay giving a tour of Flowery Branch while going over the precautions currently being taken by the organization. Check it out below.
