Fans add Final Fantasy 7’s classic camera to the Remake

Kicking it old school.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake  only  recently came out on PC, but fans are already tinkering away at it.

One of them is  FinalFanTV, who made a ridiculously cool classic camera mock-up for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. It’s not a full-blown mod anyone can install yet; only a proof-of-concept technical feat meant to inspire modders to create something more in-depth. According to the YouTube description showcasing the mock-up, anyway.

To give you an idea of how on-point the concept is, FinalFanTV uploaded a side-by-side comparison between their mock-up and the original Final Fantasy 7, which you can check out below.

It’s astounding how close FinalFanTV’s mock-up is to the real deal. When you consider that modders have barely any time to figure out what makes the Final Fantasy 7 Remake  tick, the possibilities seem endless. Hopefully, Square Enix doesn’t shut down any more fan concepts  after what happened with Project Memoria.

Modding scenes on PC are part of what makes the platform so much fun. From Among Us  astronauts in Resident Evil 3  to  zombies finally being part of Red Dead Redemption 2, the sky truly is the limit. Here’s to hoping the Final Fantasy 7 Remake  will be boiling over with all kinds of goofy nonsense in a few months as well.

Playstation Plus version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake will get a free PS5 upgrade on December 22

PS4 to PS5 upgrades are live.

In March of this year, the PS4 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake  was free for anyone with a Playstation Plus subscription. Soon, though, anyone who took advantage of that deal can upgrade to the PS5 version at no extra cost.

On Dec. 22, the PS5 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake  will come as a free upgrade option for subscribers that previously downloaded the game off PS Plus.

Square Enix also said that the PS5-exclusive DLC Episode Intermission will be 25 percent off. So anyone keen on seeing what Yuffie Kisaragi’s introduction into the storyline is like should take advantage of that deal.

Many people were displeased that the PS4 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake  was the only option during March’s PS Plus freebies. So it’s good to see Square Enix and Sony put the far-better port on the service. Check out  December’s other PS Plus free games here.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake  also came to PC recently  for anyone that missed it on consoles. However, it’s an Epic Games Store exclusive for now.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is finally heading to PC as an Epic Games Store exclusive

Coming December 16.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade  is coming to pc via the Epic Games Store on Dec. 16

Previously only available on PS4 and then later PS5, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade  is the first chapter in Square Enix’s daring outing to reimagine one of the most celebrated games of all time. The PC version was alluded to years ago, yet it remained a Playstation exclusive for a while. Well, soon, your colorful LED-laden gaming desktop will get in on the action, unlike Final Fantasy 9’s Memoria Project.

Anyone keen on picking it up need only head over to the  Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade page  on the Epic Games Store. Yup, this one is exclusively on Epic’s storefront for now. Steam fans will have to wait until while until it’s available on  Valve’s store.

Check out a trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on PC below.

It doesn’t look graphically much better than the PS5 version, but given how incredible the game looks already, that’s fine in my book. I can’t wait for PC modders to add a zombies mode. Or better yet, the astronauts from Among Us. PC gaming is so silly. It’s great!

Square Enix also shared the system requirements for the PC port as well.

Nothing too steep, especially considering how beautiful the game is.
