The Atlanta Falcons continue to knock on the doors of other NFL franchises in their quest for a new head coach and general manager.

After interviewing Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy on Monday afternoon, the team requested permission to interview Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady, as reported by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Brady is another bright offensive mind that has spent time as an offensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints from 2017-2018, then as LSU’s passing game coordinator in 2019, before taking over as Panthers offensive coordinator in 2020.

If hired by the Falcons, the 31-year-old Brady would be the youngest head coach in the NFL. Carolina averaged 243 passing yards and 106.5 yards per game on the ground this season.
