Njoku to the WWE?

An Njoku to the WWE? @joshkeatley16 shares David’s experience supporting his brother during WrestleMania week:

Okay, that title is a tad misleading, but not a lie. Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku has a little brother in former UCLA tight end, Evidence Njoku. That is the Njoku who is hoping to gain employment from the leader in sports entertainment, in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

The youngest Njoku had his WWE tryout on WrestleMania eve in Frisco, Texas and David was on site yacking it up with the one and only Triple HHH. I for one would love to see a Njoku brothers tag team in the future. (Editor’s Note: “Chief Evidence” could be a cool tag team name.)

There have been a number of former football players to make an impact in sports entertainment like Bill Goldberg, Roman Reigns and Lex Luger. Hopefully, the youngest Njokue is next.

While the Browns tight end failed to create humor with his April’s Fools joke, his brother looks to create entertainment in wrestling a few days later.

Former NFL punter Pat McAfee had a marquee matchup on “The Grandest Stage of All” including this impressive move set:

McAfee is also an announcer for WWE’s Smackdown shows.

Here are three transfer portal players who can boost Florida’s offense in 2021

The Gators are losing a significant portion of their offensive core to the NFL after a wildly successful 2020 and will need reinforcements.

The Gators’ offense was a bulldozer in 2020, forcing their way downfield in an unstoppable wave that was irrevocably destined for the end zone. NFL teams noticed. Florida is starting nearly from scratch with their offense in 2021 and a number of starting jobs are totally up for grabs.

Head coach Dan Mullen was not unprepared for this eventuality. Emory Jones is the presumptive heir to Kyle Trask‘s spot as the starting quarterback. Five-star transfer Demarcus Bowman brings an additional dimension to the Florida run game that was mostly left in the wake of the passing offense in 2020. However, without much veteran experience or certainty on the team, more could be done to buttress the depth chart.

Mullen has never shied away from recruiting guys from the transfer portal. He’s certainly been active in the regard so far this offseason, already having brought in Antonio Shelton and DaQuan Newkirk to replace the departing duo of defensive tackles. Don’t be surprised if he does the same to bolster the offense. If he does turn to the transfer market, here are three players who could pique his interest.
