Bruins expected to hire former Tennessee Titans assistant for WR job

The Bruins are getting a new wide receivers coach.

The UCLA Bruins continue to fill out their staff on offense.

Since the departure of former head coach Chip Kelly, the Bruins have been busy at work. Now, UCLA reportedly is adding to the offensive side of the ball.

Former Tennessee Titans offensive assistant coach Erik Frazier, who was with the Titans since 2021, was fired this NFL offseason following the coaching staff cleanout along with former head coach Mike Vrabel. But Frazier is likely to land with the Bruins now, following his stint in the NFL as the UCLA’s wideout coach, per Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.

Having worked with receivers DeAndre Hopkins, Julio Jones, and AJ Brown in Tennessee, Frazier has experience working with some of the best in the NFL.

The UCLA coaching staff, for the most part, is young and lacks experience. Having someone like Frazier on the team, when paired with new offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, brings a professional football-level coaching background that should help the Bruins run smoothly in 2024.

With the Bruins move to the BIG 10 this offseason, UCLA needs all the help they can get to compete with some of college football’s best.
