“I am excited to announce my commitment to the University of Tennessee,” Rataczak announced. “Can’t wait to get to work with all the Vol baseball staff, thank you to them for the wonderful opportunity. Thanks to my parents for their endless support in the pursuit of my dreams. I love you guys, GBO!”
Rataczak played outfield and first base in his only season at Niagara. He appeared in 55 games, including 53 starts, and recorded a .396 batting average, 17 home runs, 71 RBIs, 59 runs, 31 walks and two stolen bases.
Rataczak transferred to Niagara from the University of San Diego and Arizona Western College. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Vol is from Totino-Grace High School in Fridley, Minnesota.
