Season 7 of Dana White’s Contender Series continues Tuesday, and MMA Junkie will have live results from on-site at the UFC Apex.

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene and reported live from Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series 58 event.

Dana White’s Contender Series cards see prospects fighting for the opportunity to sign a UFC deal, with UFC president Dana White on hand to make the decisions.

The second episode of Season 7 saw 10 fighters compete for their shot at a UFC contract. A lightweight contest between George Hardwick (12-1) and Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady (14-3) served as the featured bout of the five-bout lineup.

Although there were two decisions, all five winners received UFC contracts from White for the second week in a row.

The Cage Warriors flyweight title is on the line as the U.K. promotion stages the first leg of its three-night triple-header in London, dubbed “The Trilogy Strikes Back.”

The York Hall in Bethnal Green, London plays host to three nights of fights as U.K. promotion Cage Warriors stages the first event of its December triple-header, Cage Warriors 117.

Dubbed “The Trilogy Strikes Back,” the second Cage Warriors triple-header features four title fights across three nights in the English capital, with the promotion’s flyweight championship on the line in Thursday night’s main event.

Newly crowned 125-pound champion [autotag]Luke Shanks[/autotag] (7-1) will put his belt on the line for the first time when he takes on undefeated challenger [autotag]Jake Hadley[/autotag] (6-0) in the night’s headliner, while flyweight contenders [autotag]Adam Amarasinghe[/autotag] (6-2) and [autotag]Sam Creasey[/autotag] (12-3) will do battle in the co-main event in a bid to put themselves next in line to face the main event winner early in 2021.

There’s also a pivotal bout in the promotion’s bantamweight division, as Brazil’s [autotag]Weslley Maia[/autotag] (6-3) takes on undefeated Italian [autotag]Michele Martignoni[/autotag] (5-0) at 135 pounds.

The lineup for Cage Warriors’ March return to its home stomping ground of London continues to grow with the addition of several new fights, including one with a UFC veteran.

[autotag]Danilo Belluardo[/autotag] (13-5) has signed with the promotion for a lightweight bout against the unbeaten [autotag]Mason Jones[/autotag] (8-0), the promotion announced Friday along with several other bookings.

In addition, former featherweight title challenger [autotag]Steve Aimable[/autotag] (14-6) meets [autotag]Perry Goodwin[/autotag] (9-7), and Scottish prospect [autotag]Aidan Stephen[/autotag] (6-2) takes on [autotag]Emrah Sonmez[/autotag] (11-2) at 145 pounds. Welterweights [autotag]Hakon Foss[/autotag] (9-8) and [autotag]Nathan Jones[/autotag] (13-9) have been booked for a meeting, as have [autotag]Matthew Bonner[/autotag] (6-5-1) and [autotag]Jamie Richardson[/autotag] (8-5) at middleweight.

Cage Warriors 113 takes place March 20 at indigo at The O2 in London. The card streams on UFC Fight Pass. The next day, the UFC visit The 02 for UFC on ESPN+ 29.

Nathan Jones

Jones was the Cage Warriors “Fight of the Year” in voting done by the promotion’s fans in 2019. The 24-year-old Welshman went 2-0 in 2019 with decision wins over Donovan Desmae and Aleksi Mantykivi. In 2018, he went 4-0 with three wins by stoppage.

Italy’s Belluardo will be Jones’ most experienced opponent yet. After a six-fight winning streak, he signed with the UFC in 2019. But he lost both his fights with the promotion by TKO to Joel Alvarez and Mark Madsen. Now he’ll try to snap his skid in his Cage Warriors debut.
