Bellator 263: Mads Burnell vs. Emmanuel Sanchez odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s Bellator 263 fight between Mads Burnell and Emmanuel Sanchez with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a featherweight co-main event bout, Mads Burnell faces Emmanuel Sanchez Saturday in the World Grand Prix Final at Bellator 263 at The Forum in Los Angeles. The card will be televised on Showtime starting at 7 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Bellator 263 Burnell vs. Sanchez odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

Burnell won via rear-naked choke submission at Bellator 257 against Saul Rogers last time out April 16. He has a pair of victories with the promotion, also dropping Darko Banovic with a Round 1 KO/TKO at Bellator 248 Oct. 10. He has ripped off six straight professional victories since being unceremoniously dumped by the UFC after a loss to Arnold Allen May 27, 2018, at UFC Fight Night 130.

Sanchez lost via submission in the first round to Patricio Freire in a Grand Prix semifinal match at Bellator 255. That loss splashed cold water on a three-bout win streak. “El Matator” steps into the octagon with a 70-inch reach, and he will look to use that slight advantage against the Danish fighter, who has a 69-inch reach.

Records: Burnell 15-3-0 | Sanchez 20-5-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

BURNELL (-140) will be looking to get this fight to the canvas as soon as possible as he has the advantage in the takedown and submission categories. That’s exactly when Freire made Sanchez pay last time out in the Grand Prix semifinal, submitting the 30-year-old in Round 1.

Just for fun, I have been tossing around a four-fighter parlay which includes Burnell (-140), Freire (-105), Islam Mamedov (-215) and Usman Nurmagomedov (-1400). If you play that FOUR FIGHTER PARLAY (+423), even with a small-unit bet if all four come through it could be a very lucrative night in the octagon.
