LSU offers 4-star power forward from Combine Academy

LSU head coach [autotag]Matt McMahon[/autotag] is working on the 2026 recruiting class for the Tigers, and he believes he has found a diamond in Charlotte, North Carolina.

[autotag]Elhadji Diallo[/autotag] is a six-foot-seven, 200-pound, four-star power forward from Charlotte, North Carolina, where he plays for Combine Academy. The Combine Academy Goats finished the 2022 season 36-5 record and were winners of the Hoopstate Championship over Winston-Salem Christian National.

There are no Crystal Ball projections for Knight at this time but Old Dominion is a 22% favorite to land him per On3. LSU currently does not have any commitments for the 2026 recruiting class but McMahon is off to a nice start.

Elhadji Diallo is offered by Rutgers basketball.

Elhadji Diallo was offered by Rutgers basketball in late August, adding another big-time offer to what is starting to become an impressive recruitment.

A 6-foot-7 at Combine Academy (Lincolnton, North Carolina), Diallo is a class of 2026 recruit with some impressive upside. His Rutgers offer sees them join a recruitment that already includes Mississippi State, Old Dominion and Wichita State.

Diallo is still developing physically but also in terms of refining his game. What he does have, however, is loads of potential as well as a strong work ethic.

In the post, Diallo is nearly unstoppable. He uses his frame and length very well to create advantages for easy points. In the open court, he shows some serious flashes of being unstoppable in getting to the basket.

Defensively, he is a very strong rebounder and is an intimidating presence in terms of blocking shots:

 

In their initial ranking of the class of 2026, recruiting site On3 ranked Diallo among the top 50 players in the nation.

 

Rutgers basketball currently has the second-best recruiting class in the nation for the class of 2024.
