The Jets turned to a familiar face to replace Alex Kessman after he missed two extra points against the Eagles, signing Eddy Piñeiro on Monday.
Piñeiro had worked out for New York before it settled on Kessman as its replacement for the struggling Matt Ammendola, who was coincidentally re-signed to the practice squad on Tuesday. Now Piñeiro will get his chance to bring stability to the Jets’ sputtering kicking game.
