EA Sports FC 24 reveals full soundtrack

More than 100 artists are represented, including Kendrick Lamar and The Rolling Stones.

EA Sports FC 24 has revealed its full soundtrack, which features more than 100 artists spanning a huge range of genres.

Over more than 80 tracks, artists like Kendrick Lamar, Major Lazer, Run The Jewels, M83, Jack Harlow, Karol G and The Rolling Stones are represented, along with dozens more.

“The premiere of EA Sports FC 24 delivers a definitive global soundtrack that builds on innovation and authenticity like never before,” Steve Schnur, EA’s President of Music, said in a statement.

“We’ve curated a player experience that celebrates diversity and discovery via new music and artists that defies genres, erases borders, creates football culture, and powers football life. It’s the next chapter in The World’s Game, set to music like never before.”

FC 24 is slated to release on September 29, and will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Ahead of the launch of EA Sports FC 24, the best 24 MLS players in the game have been revealed.

This year, an obvious name tops the list: Lionel Messi, who is one of the top overall players in the game at a 90 overall rating.

In fact, the three highest-rated MLS players are all recent Inter Miami signings, with Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets rounding out the top three.

Erling Haaland is the EA Sports FC 24 cover star

The standard edition cover of EA Sports FC 24 has been revealed, and it features Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.

Earlier this week we got our first look at the cover for the Ultimate Edition of the upcoming EA Sports FC 24, which featured over 30 football stars, past and present, in an image that hopes to symbolize the new direction of the game series formerly known as FIFA.

That cover was widely ridiculed for its art style, which featured many uncanny-looking faces, so fans will be pleased to know that the game’s Standard Edition cover goes back to real-life photography.

Manchester City’s Erling Haaland was the man chosen for this year’s cover. This follows a stellar season for Haaland where, among other achievements, he scored 36 goals in 35 Premier League matches, and 12 goals in 11 UEFA Champions League games.

Born in Leeds, England, but of Norwegian heritage, Haaland started playing for Germany’s Bundesliga at just 20 years old, where he scored five goals in his first two matches – a record for the league. He would repeat this feat later that year, scoring six goals in his first three UEFA Champions League matches, making him one of the sport’s fastest-rising stars.

It makes him a worthy successor to Kylian Mbappé’s throne, as the French footballer has dominated the covers of FIFA games for the last few years.

Daniel Kaluuya narrates first trailer for EA Sports FC 24

It’s a new era for the hugely popular video game franchise

Academy Award-winning actor, producer and writer Daniel Kaluuya is the voice of the first trailer for EA Sports FC 24, the successor to the hugely popular FIFA video game series.

After a 30-year partnership, EA Sports and FIFA announced that last year’s FIFA 23 would be the final game that uses the global governing body’s name.

The new era is set to begin this fall with FC 24, starting with Monday’s release of the trailer and the Ultimate Edition cover.

Both the trailer and the cover feature stars of the game’s past and present, including Pele, Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham, Sam Kerr, Marta, and USWNT stars Mia Hamm and Trinity Rodman.

Further details about FC 24 will be unveiled on Thursday in an official livestream event, which will feature the first look at gameplay, keynote speakers, and the reveal of the Standard Edition global cover athlete. The event can be found HERE.

The release date for FC 24 has not yet been confirmed, but the game is expected to be available sometime in late September.
