Say hello to Sage, the Westminster Dog Show 2024 winner

Sage wins Best in Show!

While many delightful dogs competed in the Westminster Dog Show 2024, only one precious pooch earned the coveted title of Best in Show. At the 148th annual Westminster Dog Show, the pup who won Best in Show was none other than a miniature poodle named Sage (official name GCHG CH Surrey Sage).

Sage, a 3-year-old poodle hailing from Houston, Texas, “is the first poodle to win Best in Show since 2020,” according to USA Today reporters Cydney Henderson and Lorenzo Reyes.

Dawn Staley’s very good dog Champ adorably crashed her March Madness press conference

March Madness dog alert!

During Saturday’s press availability, South Carolina women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley brought a special friend with her to the table.

Staley’s dog Champ joined her as she took questions from reporters and joked that the dog wouldn’t answering any questions from the press until the NCAA gave the very good boy a proper name plate.

This dog is very adorable and deserves many treats and belly rubs, even if the poor little guy does look tired from all the March Madness festivities.

If you see Champ during this year’s tournament as he cheers on Staley and South Carolina, make sure to tell him he’s the bestest boy in basketball.

Even if South Carolina doesn’t go all the way this spring, the team will at least know that Champ is in its corner. That’s a pretty good thing to have during March Madness.

Also, NCAA, we hope to see Champ’s name plate at the press table the next time he and Staley make an appearance!

Kirk Herbstreit’s dog Ben and Washington’s live mascot Dubs finally met, and it was adorable

!!! GOOD BOYS ALERT !!!

Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship game was won before it was even played.

The bestest boys you could ever imagine showed up in full force, as Kirk Herbstreit’s dog Ben and the Washington Huskies dog mascot Dubs were the real VIPs at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

Herbstreit has brought Ben along with him to various sporting events this season, and of course this wonderful golden retriever showed up for this year’s college football title game.

Herbstreit took Ben on a pregame walk and even brought him onto the field for a segment along with Chris Fowler. Look at that good boy!

Dubs also showed up to support his team, looking like the happiest malamute in the world.

These two star dogs even got to meet before the game, and it was absolutely adorable to see these good boys sitting together.

Shower them with hugs and cookies!

The national title game was great and all, but we all won for getting to spend a little screen time with these amazing pups.
