No. 2 North Carolina defensive lineman includes Tennessee in top five

Tennessee is one of five schools for the No. 2 2024 defensive lineman in North Carolina.

Three-star defensive lineman D’Nas White announced his top five schools on Thursday.

Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida State and Coastal Carolina are White’s top five schools.

The 6-foot-6, 310-pound defensive lineman is from Jay M. Robinson High School in Concord, North Carolina.

White is the No. 697 overall prospect and No. 63 defensive lineman in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 22 player in North Carolina, according to On3 industry rankings.

White recorded 11 tackles for a loss and four sacks in seven games as a junior. He unofficially visited Tennessee on April 15 for the 2023 Orange & White Game.

Virginia Tech is the favorite for D’Nas White.

Film Analysis: White lines up at nose tackle when the Bulldogs are in a 3-4 set and defensive tackle in their 4-3 set. He does a great job of using his hands to get by any opposing offensive guard or center that tries to block him.
