This hidden Disney World and Disneyland discovery will blow your mind even if it’s wrong

Mind. Blown.

OK, fine, I know Disney World is actually in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. And I know that Disneyland is in Anaheim and NOT Los Angeles.

But WHATEVER! Because I joined a bunch of other people who had their minds blown by a graphic from NBC Palm Springs that showed the DisneyLAnd has L.A. in it and Disney wORLd has Orlando hidden in it.

MORE DISNEY: Disney World thrill rides, ranked

Did that blow your mind too? I’m sure. Is it a coincidence? Probably. But there are a lot of people who are similarly wowed by this and others who scoffed:

I’ll say this — you’ll never forget which Disney park is where.

Disney has unveiled the first ride footage of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Disney has unveiled its first ride footage of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

After more than a year of retheming, Disney has finally unveiled its first ride footage of the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Taking the place of Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and Disneyland, the Princess and the Frog-themed log flume ride will make its grand debut in Orlando on June 28 before opening in Anaheim later this year.

With its second online episode of “We Call It Imagineering” on Wednesday evening, Disney showed footage of musician PJ Morton, who created a song for the attraction, riding the attraction for the first time.

The results of Disney’s extensive retheming look pretty great so far, particularly the animatronic work with the ride’s grand finale.

And don’t worry, the ride retains its signature drop that makes it one of Disney’s more thrilling attractions. You can see the footage around the 16-minute mark.

We’ll know soon enough how parkgoers feel about the revamped attraction once it opens at the Magic Kingdom next month.

From an early glimpse, it looks like a swell time.

7 best moments from Patrick Mahomes’ family trip to Disneyland after epic Super Bowl 58 win

There’s not a chance Patrick Mahomes slept before this trip.

It’s tradition for the winning team’s MVP to celebrate at Disney after the Super Bowl. On Monday, Patrick Mahomes and his family continued that tradition with a Super Bowl 58 victory parade at Disneyland.

Super Bowl 58 was full of many good moments, from the game-winning touchdown to the incredible memes. Things got even better afterward when Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, and Jason Kelce enjoyed the Las Vegas nightlife. However, Patrick Mahomes would not be left out of the celebration.

Mahomes and his family visited Disneyland on Monday for a Kansas City Chiefs celebration parade. Per Ashley Carter of Spectrum News 13, the parade started in the It’s a Small World section of the park and ran down Main Street.

There’s a massive chance that Mahomes didn’t sleep to make his stop at Disney happen, but he’ll have these memories for a lifetime.

Here are the seven best moments from his trip:

12 Disneyland rides ranked by how much Nick Saban would hate them

Nick Saban’s trip to Disneyland inspired us to rank the rides we think Saban would find least tolerable.

Rose Bowl Week has arrived in Southern California and while all college football fans know how important the game itself is to the sport — especially this year when it’s a semifinal in the College Football Playoff — many casual fans may not be aware that the Rose Bowl is accompanied by truly absurd amounts of pomp and ceremony.

There’s the Tournament of Roses, the Rose Parade, and numerous other events that happen in the week leading up to the game, including an annual visit by the two participating teams to the “Happiest Place On Earth”, Disneyland.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban enjoys many things: football, coaching football, eating the same salad for lunch everyday, recruiting football players, watching the Weather Channel. That’s pretty much the list.

What Nick Saban does not typically enjoy is any kind of flight of fancy that distracts you from your real life, which is essentially the entire premise of Disneyland. As both a long-time Disney theme park enthusiast and Nick Saban scholar, I decided to rank the Disneyland rides I think Saban would find least tolerable.

*Note: I did decide to include Disney’s California Adventure in this list as it is what Nick Saban would consider a reasonable walking distance from Disneyland.

Behind the scenes of Alabama footballs day at Disneyland

Alabama football soaking up the fun at Disneyland

Even amongst the New York’s Six bowls, there is just something special about the Rose Bowl, otherwise known as “The Granddaddy of them all.” From the nostalgia of the venue, to the beauty of the mountains in the backdrop, to the famous rose parade it is something special that every football fan needs to witness at least once.

The Alabama football team is soaking up all of the pageantry of the Rose Bowl experience as they are spending today at Disneyland. The game itself is important and will be taken seriously, but it is important for the guys to enjoy a lifelong memory like this with teammates and to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

After a narrow Week 3 victory against USF, I would have told you that you were out of your mind if you thought Alabama would be playing for a Rose Bowl. Yet, here we are, so I think it is important that everyone enjoys the past 13 weeks regardless of the outcome next Monday.

WATCH: Michigan football and Alabama partake in Disneyland cavalcade

Really cool to see the guys celebrated at Disney! #GoBlue

ANAHEIM, Calif. — The happiest place on earth became even happier on Wednesday as Disneyland hosted the Rose Bowl welcome event featuring both the Michigan football and Alabama Crimson Tide football teams.

Only a handful from each team took part in the parade going down Main Street, with Jim Harbaugh, Mike Sainristil, Blake Corum, and Kris Jenkins representing the Wolverines and Nick Saban, Malachi Moore, Dallas Turner, and Jalen Milroe representing Alabama. But at least Michigan brought its entire contingent to the premier West Coast theme park.

WolverinesWire’s Isaiah Hole was there on-site and captured some of the action. You can see a quick video summary of the parade below.

WATCH: Alabama takes centerstage at Disneyland parade ahead of Rose Bowl

The happiest place on earth? Many will say Disneyland, while Alabama fans will argue it’s Tuscaloosa on a Saturday in the fall.

For Crimson Tide football fans, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is the happiest place on earth because it is viewed by many as the epicenter of college football.

However, others will argue that Disneyland actually holds claim to that title. Worlds collided today when the Alabama football team took over the parade at Disneyland ahead of the Rose Bowl.

Nick Saban and his team have been hard at work preparing for the College Football Playoff Rose Bowl semifinal against top-ranked Michigan, but took some time to enjoy one of California’s most exciting places. At today’s parade, the Crimson Tide was featured.

In a video shared to social media by Blake Byler of BamaCentral, players and coaches can be seen happily being paraded for guests and fans alike to see. Michigan also partook in some festivities today, as well.

Alabama will face Michigan in Pasadena on Jan. 1 at 5 p.m. ET and Roll Tide Wire will continue to cover the Crimson Tide as they prepare for the semifinal matchup.

Patrick Mahomes was absolutely shocked by a Disneyland ride during his Super Bowl MVP visit

Patrick Mahomes did NOT expect this Disneyland ride to go so hard.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes found himself caught off-guard by the intensity of a Disneyland ride this week while celebrating his Super Bowl 57 victory.

As is customary for the Super Bowl MVP, Mahomes and his family ventured over to a Disney park for a parade and some enjoyment.

The Mahomes have a young daughter who undoubtedly was excited to take in Disneyland, but one ride caught her NFL MVP father by surprise.

Mahomes told Jimmy Kimmel on Monday about taking his eldest kiddo on the Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway attraction, which opened at the park in 2020. He called the ride’s name a “tongue twister” while describing it.

The Chiefs quarterback said he did not expect the seemingly family-friendly attraction to go as hard as it did. He starts talking about their Disneyland trip at 3:51 in the interview.

It’s just hysterical to hear Mahomes openly wondering why a Disneyland ride starring Mickey and Minnie Mouse featured so much adrenaline.

“It was actually pretty crazy,” Mahomes told Kimmel. “It caught me by surprise a couple of times. I thought it was, like, a kids’ ride how it was set up, and all of a sudden, I’m flying around in this place, and I’m like, how do y’all let little kids on this thing?”

He’s right! The ride is kind of intense for little kids!

They say any publicity is good publicity, and Disney could see an influx of park guests who are ready to ride the attraction that gave the most decorated NFL player of his generation some unexpected thrills.

The full Kimmel interview is worth checking out. It had a hilarious anecdote about Andy Reid’s Super Bowl halftime policy for Chiefs players wanting to watch Rihanna and fascinating insight into a Pikachu-inspired trick play.

Rams partner with the Disneyland Resort to get young fans interested in football

The #Rams announced a partnership with the Disneyland Resort on Thursday in a move that they hope will lure young fans into their audience

In conjunction with the Disneyland Resort, the Los Angeles Rams are looking to get young people interested in the game of football, and hope to bring a new generation of fans into their audience. The team announced on Thursday that they had finalized a partnership with the renowned entertainment consortium that would seek to engage young people by showcasing their brand around Disneyland and bringing advertising for the resort into SoFi Stadium as part of the game day experience.

There will be a season-long series of content called “Rams Kids Fact Friday” as part of the collaboration that will be aimed toward the youth, which is set to be released on all of the Rams’ media outlets. According to the team, each video will feature Disney characters and Los Angeles cheerleaders, with Fact Friday topics including fun facts about Rams players, the team’s history, and their upcoming matchups.

All of this will lead up to an event held for the Watts and Inglewood Rams youth football teams at the Disneyland Resort. The team’s press release states that the function will celebrate the achievements of the young student-athletes, and will be an opportunity for players, families, and coaches to come together.

Additionally, Los Angeles has arranged to have certain players on their roster vacation at the resort to “create new memories with their families while experiencing seasonal celebrations at Disneyland Resort.”

“Disneyland Resort will also have a presence in SoFi Stadium on Rams gamedays with LED and Infinity Screen signage highlighting seasonal offerings at the Parks. Rams will also present ‘Magic Moment’ in-game features,” according to the release put out on Thursday.

In a market like Los Angeles, collaborations and partnerships are expected, but the announcement of a deal of this magnitude is a bit surprising in the middle of the football season. The Rams will look to get their new collaboration underway with a win against the Carolina Panthers this week.
