Tennessee makes top-six for No. 1 tight end in Arizona

Tennessee is one of six schools for the No. 1 tight end in Arizona.

Three-star tight end Dillon Hipp announced his top-six schools on Wednesday.

Tennessee, Auburn, Baylor, Ole Miss, TCU and Arizona State are Hipp’s top-six schools.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound tight end is from Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Hipp is the No. 895 overall prospect and No. 43 tight end in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 1 tight end and No. 14 player in Arizona, according to On3 Sports industry rankings.

He finished the 2022 season with 30 receptions, 350 receiving yards, four touchdowns and averaged 11.6 yards per reception.

Hipp unofficially visited Tennessee on March 9, his second visit during the last two years.
