Devin White documents his rookie year on Instagram

Buccaneers linebacker Devin White took to Instagram to document the journey of his rookie year.

Bucs linebacker Devin White faced big expectations entering his rookie year last season. Not only was the former LSU linebacker the fifth overall pick in the 2019 draft, but he was the first linebacker taken in round one by the Buccaneers since Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks back in 1995.

White’s season got off to a rough start, however, due to illness and injury, but he righted the ship in the second half to establish himself as a bright young star in this league.

The linebacker took to Instagram recently to document the journey of Year 1.

Devin White is pumped and ready to go

Bucs linebacker Devin White posted his excitement on Instagram for the upcoming 2020 season.

The Buccaneers defense will need to play up to par with their high-powered offense in 2020 if Tampa Bay is going to make a serious run at a championship.

Tom Brady is in at quarterback, and the Bucs are hoping the soon-to-be 43-year-old QB will be able to get them back to the postseason for the first time since 2007.

On defense, the Bucs retained key veterans like Ndamukong Suh and Jason Pierre-Paul, and have reigning sack champion Shaq Barrett returning after he signed his franchise tag tender offer.

But the biggest cornerstone for this Bucs D is linebacker Devin White, the fifth overall pick in the 2019 draft. White had a strong second half to his rookie season last year, and seems to be everything the team had hoped for.

The star linebacker and cowboy took to Instagram today to show his excitement about the upcoming season.

And it seems his new quarterback was feeling this post, too.

Bucs linebacker Devin White will be looked upon to take on more of a leadership role in his second season after a strong finish to his rookie year in 2019. Fortunately, White will have one of the game’s best, and most underrated, linebackers right by his side in Lavonte David.

White went on Instagram recently to post a few pictures of he and David on his story, seemingly putting the rest of the league on notice.

White also posted the below art piece of him and David on his story, which is pretty sweet if you’re a Bucs fan.

It’s selfie time for Bucs LB Devin White

Devin White hit up Instagram today to show off a few selfies.

While White’s rookie year got off to a bit of a slow start due to illness and injury, he came on strong the final two months of the season, displaying insane athleticism and setting some Bucs history along the way.

With big things expected from him and the Bucs defense in Year 2, White’s enjoying the last few weeks of the offseason before training camp (hopefully) begins next month.

Take a look at some recent selfie photos White posted on his Instagram story today, including one in his new Tampa Bay threads.
