Washington is 0-2 SU and 1-1 ATS since the All-Star break with losses to the San Antonio Spurs and at the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Wizards are 2-0 SU and 1-1 ATS versus the Pistons this season and the total is 1-1 O/U in those meetings.

SPRINKLE on the PISTONS (+135) with the plan of hitting their spread harder since that’s the sharper wager.
Detroit has more talent than the Wizards and the Pistons are a team I’m buying stock in now.
Detroit is 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS in its last four games and all three victories came against teams currently in playoff seeding.
Cleveland Cavaliers rookie PF Evan Mobley may be the runaway favorite for the NBA Rookie of the Year but Pistons wing Cade Cunningham, and No. 1 overall pick, will be the best player from this draft.

Against the spread
Definitely BET the PISTONS +3.5 (-107) heavier than or instead of their ML because the Wizards perform worse versus expectations when playing bad teams.
Washington is 7-18-1 ATS versus teams with a losing record while Detroit is 12-12 ATS versus losing teams. The Wizards have the worst ATS margin versus teams in the bottom-10 of adjusted net rating (minus-5.1 ATS margin), according to CleaningTheGlass.com (CTG).
There’s also been some reverse line movement in the betting market as Detroit opened as a 5.5-point underdog but has been lowered to the current price despite more than 80% of the cash being on Washington, according to VegasInsider.com.
The PISTONS +3.5 (-107) is my favorite wager in this game.
Over/Under
PASS since my prediction is in-sync with the market’s projected total hence there’s no value for me in this number. For what it’s worth, the Pistons are 15-15-1 O/U on the road and the Wizards are 17-13-1 O/U at home.
