The Eagles agenda is simple, win the next four divisional games, including the blockbuster at home against Dallas in two-weeks and they’re in the tournament. Getting into the playoffs has its advantages, especially if a healthy DeSean Jackson can return just in time for a Wild Card matchup against the Niners or Seahawks.
Jackson suffered a torn abdominal muscle during the Eagles win against the Chicago Bears and was placed on injured reserve after having surgery. With a six-week timetable for recovery, the Wild Card round was Jackson’s target return date.
In a video posted by ABC’s Jeff Skversky via Jackson’s Instagram story, the Eagles star updated his rehab and looks strong with a month out of his possible return.
Jackson originally declined surgery after suffering an abdominal strain in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons and Eagles fans were tormented for weeks about his possible return date.
With the surgery now complete and Jackson having the opportunity to possibly return for a playoff run, things could start to look up for the Eagles, they just have to get through the next month.
