Danton Cole took the podium on Tuesday ahead of his fifth season as the head man of the Michigan State hockey program. Cole has done a good job revitalizing the energy into the program, but now needs to take it to the next level.
The Spartans are coming off of a disappointing 7-18-2 campaign, where the team showed its youth. On the bright side, the youth on the team has gained much needed experience heading into this season.
Coach Cole announced who would be leading his team as captains into this big season for the hockey program.

Senior defensemen Dennis Cesana will get the captain’s ‘C’, while senior forward Mitchell Lewandowski and junior forward Josh Nodler will sport the assistant captain’s ‘A’.
Also: Seniors Cole Krygier, Christian Krygier, Adam Goodsir and Mitchell Mattson will serve as assistant captains on a rotating basis throughout the season.
