Warren, a Hyattsville, Maryland (Lackawanna Community College; Scranton, Pennsylvania) native, has three official visits scheduled aside from Oklahoma. He will visit Penn State on September 26, Tennessee on December 4, and Georgia on December 11. With the Sooners sandwiched in the middle, the visit could very well be a last-second push to put Oklahoma over the top of the others.
Per 247Sports, Warren is the top-ranked junior college player in the nation. With year two of the Alex Grinch defensive rebuild commencing, adding an experienced player like Warren in the secondary could bode well for the Sooners.
Oklahoma’s 2021 recruiting class is beginning to take shape with four defensive verbal commits and three offensive verbal commits, good for the No. 26 best class in the nation per Rivals.
The Sooners have offers out on 21 cornerbacks in the 2021 class, including Warren. Of those 21 offers, five are verbally committed to other schools.
