The inaugural season for the highly anticipated XFL got underway on Saturday with the DC Defenders taking on the Seattle Dragons, and a familiar face for Alabama fans was making plays.
Bradley Sylve, a defensive back for the Crimson Tide from 2012-15, picked off former Troy quarterback Brandon Silvers and then returned it for a touchdown.

The play from Sylve helped put the Defenders up 31-19 in the fourth quarter.
After finishing his career in Tuscaloosa, Sylve found himself on the roster of the Buffalo Bills for a brief period of time before landing with the AAF’s Birmingham Iron.
After the league folded, Sylve was looking for work, which he found with the Defenders shortly after it was announced that the league would launch in the spring of 2020.
Apparently, that decision paid off for Sylve and his new team.
