Former Georgia running back D’Andre Swift took the field Sunday for the Detroit Lions in his first game as an NFL player.
The Bears defeated the Lions 27-23 in the season opener.
In his rookie debut against Roquan Smith and the Chicago Bears, Swift saw minimal touches, taking three carries for 8 yards and catching three passes for 15 yards.
Swift did score the Lions’ only rushing touchdown, though, punching it in from the goal line.

Unfortunately, Swift had a crucial drop in the final seconds of the game that would have sent the Lions home with a win.
