The 2025 Duke football recruiting class gained many new members over the summer, and with August finally here, the future of the Blue Devils is officially taking shape.

On Thursday, Blue Devils commits like quarterback Dan Mahan and wide receiver Gerritt Kemp shared social media posts about their official offers from the school.

In his first full recruiting cycle as the Duke head coach, [autotag]Manny Diaz[/autotag] already landed 24 commitments from the 2025 class. Four-star linebacker Cameron Smith from Philadelphia leads a class of 12 defenders, six offensive linemen, and a handful of receivers.

Mahan, who committed to the program back in April, already visited Durham and shared some photos of himself in a Blue Devils uniform on social media. 247Sports ranks him as a three-star prospect and the No. 54 quarterback in the class.

Kemp committed shortly after his official visit in June. The third-highest-ranked Blue Devils commit on 247Sports, the three-star wideout is a top-100 prospect at his position.

The Blue Devils have racked up 2025 commitments on the recruiting trail this month, and no one seems more excited than three-star quarterback Dan Mahan.

11 of Duke’s 21 commitments for the 2025 cycle have announced their decision since the start of the month as head coach [autotag]Manny Diaz[/autotag] started hosting official visits, and Mahan’s been vocal about all of them on social media.

One of the earliest commitments for the 2025 class, Mahan aligned himself with the Blue Devils back on April 13. The three-star prospect from Burlington, North Carolina, plays for Walter M. Williams High School, and he compiled 1,776 passing yards, 323 rushing yards, and 25 total touchdowns as a junior last season.

The future passer started his recent social media content by teasing that there was “some great news on the way” for the Blue Devils after his official visit on June 9.

Duke football’s quarterback of the future spent some time on campus this weekend.

Dan Mahan, a three-star prospect from Burlington, North Carolina, took an official visit with the Blue Devils. The Walter M. Williams High School product, who committed to Duke back in April, shared some photos of himself in uniform for Blue Devils fans.

The Blue Devils hosted a dozen recruits this weekend, their second official visit weekend in a row. After two commitments for Manny Diaz last week, Mahan teased that he may have picked up some new teammates this time.

“Some great news on the way too,” Mahan wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

As of Sunday afternoon, the Blue Devils have 12 total commitments for the 2025 class, including three offensive players.
