Dallas Goedert is practicing ahead of Eagles Week 13 showdown vs. 49ers

Dallas Goedert is participating in Friday’s practice ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles showdown vs. San Francisco 49ers on Sunday

Dallas Goedert had surgery on his fractured forearm less than a month ago, and as the Eagles prepare for a monster matchup against the 49ers, the star tight end is trending toward a return to the lineup.

Goedert has been a fixture at Philadelphia’s practice over the past three weeks, but on Friday, the talented pass catcher looks like a player set for a return to the lineup.

The Eagles were expected to be without his services for the bulk of their brutal five-game stretch coming off their bye week with games at the Kansas City Chiefs, Cowboys, and Seahawks and home games versus the San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills.

Goedert could now conceivably only miss the Chiefs and Bills while returning for San Francisco, Dallas, and Seattle.

Eagles will replace Dallas Goedert with this committee of skill position players

The Philadelphia Eagles are back from their bye and set for a highly anticipated Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs (the first time both teams have played since Kansas City beat Philadelphia in Super Bowl LVII 10 months ago).

The much-hyped matchup is the first of a five-game stretch for the Eagles, who will face the Chiefs (away), Buffalo Bills (home), San Francisco 49ers (home), Dallas Cowboys (road), and Seattle Seahawks (road).

The gauntlet got even more difficult after Dallas Goedert suffered a forearm fracture in the Week 9 win over Dallas.

Goedert wasn’t placed on injured reserve, but Philadelphia will need to replace his production, and we’re looking at the committee of skill players up for the job.
