Dallas Cowboys favored over Washington Football Team in Week 12 Thanksgiving matchup

The Dallas Cowboys enter their Thanksgiving matchup against the Washington Football Team as betting favorites by the Week 12 odds and lines.

The Washington Football Team (3-7) and Dallas Cowboys (3-7) will battle for at least a temporary hold on the top spot in the NFC East when they meet at AT&T Stadium on Thanksgiving. Both teams are tied with the New York Giants at 3-7 while the Philadelphia Eagles sit tenuously atop the division at 3-6-1. Below, we take a look at the early Washington-Cowboys Week 12 betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

The Cowboys look to avenge a 25-3 loss to Washington in Week 7 which saw QB Andy Dalton leave the game due to injury. Dalton returned to the lineup against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11 and led Dallas to a 31-28 win with 203 passing yards and 3 touchdown tosses. It was Dallas’ first time scoring at least 20 points since QB Dak Prescott was lost to a season-ending injury in Week 5.

Washington outdueled the Cincinnati Bengals for a 20-9 win in Week 11. QB Alex Smith went 17-for-25 through the air for just 166 yards with a touchdown and a pick. Rookie RB Antonio Gibson ran for 94 yards and his fifth touchdown in four games. Gibson ran for a season-high 128 yards in the Week 7 win against the Cowboys.

Dallas Cowboys big road underdogs vs. Minnesota Vikings in Week 11

The Minnesota Vikings are big betting favorites against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11.

The Dallas Cowboys (2-7) are fresh off a bye and will visit the Minnesota Vikings (4-5) Sunday afternoon. Kickoff from U.S. Bank Stadium will be at 4:25 p.m. ET. Below, we take a look at the early Cowboys-Vikings Week 11 betting odds and lines at BetMGM Sportsbook.

The Cowboys have lost four games in a row and haven’t scored more than 19 points in a game since Oct. 11 against the New York Giants. They’re 23rd in points scored per game this season and 32nd in scoring defense. They’ve struggled mightily since losing QB Dak Prescott to a season-ending injury.

The Vikings started the year 1-5 but have since won three games in a row over the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears. RB Dalvin Cook has emerged as the top running back in the NFL, helping the Vikings rank fifth in rushing. Minnesota’s defense has improved in recent weeks, too, allowing no more than 22 points in its last three games.
