Michigan State hockey lands in-state commitment

Michigan State lands one of the top in-state recruits, expected to join the team in 2025-26:

Michigan State hockey has finalized its roster for the 2024-25 season, but it appears that Adam Nightingale is getting a jump start on the 2025-26 roster. The Spartans have picked up a commitment from Cullen McCrate, a 2007-born player from Adrian, Michigan.

McCrate spent his prep career with the Little Caesars AAA program and got a sniff of USHL in 3 games with the Dubuque Fighting Saints. As of now, it seems as if he spend 2024-25 in the USHL, before joining the Spartans in the following year.
