Colorado offers four-star QB Madden Iamaleava, brother of Tennessee’s Nico

Colorado extended an offer to Madden Iamaleava, the younger brother of rising Tennessee star quarterback Nico Iamaleava

Earlier this week, the Colorado Buffaloes offered class of 2025 four-star quarterback Madden Iamaleava. His surname should sound familiar, as Madden is the younger brother of Tennessee freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava, who started for the Vols in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day.

The younger Iamaleava announced the offer via his X account on Monday. This comes soon after 2025 four-star QB TJ Lateef put CU in his top seven schools.

Iamaleava plays at Warren High School in Downey, California, and has received offers from a large number of schools, including Auburn, Miami (FL), Ole Miss, Oregon State, TCU, Tennessee and Washington, among plenty of others.

Iamaleava was recently at an all-star passing tournament hosted by the Los Angeles Rams and made a bigger name for himself with some impressive throws.

If Colorado head coach Deion Sanders can land a player of Madden’s caliber, it would be a huge grab for the future of the Buffs program.

Four-star QB TJ Lateef puts Colorado in top seven

Four-star QB TJ Lateef remains high on Colorado

Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders and his staff have been actively recruiting class of 2025 prospects this offseason. Despite missing out on top-ranked quarterback Bryce Underwood, who committed to LSU, the Buffs are trending well with several other current high school juniors.

On Saturday, 2025 four-star QB TJ Lateef dropped his top seven schools, and Colorado was included, per On3.

Here’s a look at the final seven for Lateef:

Lateef plays at Orange Lutheran High School in California and owns several other big-time offers, including Oregon State, Penn State, UCLA and Miami (FL).

According to the 247Sports Composite, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Lateef is ranked No. 19 among 2025 quarterbacks.

Here’s a look at some of his highlights from a recent camp:

After watching a few recruits decommit, Colorado is currently without any 2025 pledges, so landing Lateef would be huge.

Colorado offers intriguing class of 2025 tight end Corbin Laisure

Intriguing Tennessee tight end Corbin Laisure announced an offer from Colorado

After a 4-8 season, Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders and his staff continue to hit the recruiting trails hard.

On Wednesday, class of 2025 tight end Corbin Laisure announced via his X account that he received an offer from the Buffs.

Laisure is listed as a 6-foot-5, 218-pound tight end on 247Sports. He’s currently a junior at Sullivan East High School in Bluff City, Tennessee.

Laisure is an intriguing prospect who finished with 64 catches, 774 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns this past season. Additionally, he racked up 116 tackles and 11.5 TFLs as a defensive end.

In his announcement, Laisure posted that he spoke with Colorado quality control analyst Gunnar White.

Laisure also made some highlights at a recent showcase, so he’s certainly a prospect to watch in the class of 2025.

Colorado extends offer to four-star TE Desaahn Brame

Four-star TE DeSaahn Brame, who recently trained with fellow Derby, Kansas native Dylan Edwards, received an offer from Colorado

Colorado is pushing to land class of 2025 tight end Desaahn Brame, a four-star prospect who announced an offer from the Buffs on Monday.

Brame recently wrapped his junior season at Derby High School, the same Kansas football powerhouse that produced current Buffs running back Dylan Edwards. The two Derby natives even trained together in December, per Brame’s X account.

While Brame already named his top eight schools last month (Oregon, Florida, Tennessee, Kansas State, Texas A&M, Alabama, Oklahoma and Michigan), I wouldn’t count Colorado out because of his connection with Edwards.

The numbers that Brame put up this past season for an 11-2 Derby team were impressive. According to his MaxPreps page, the 6-foot-6, 235-pound TE caught 46 passes for 942 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Brame is the fifth-ranked TE in his class and the No. 142 overall prospect (247Sports Composite).

CU Buffs offer 2025 three-star wide receiver Emmanuel Choice

Lancaster, Texas wide receiver Emmanuel Choice is on Colorado’s radar

Head coach Deion Sanders and his Colorado football staff continue to work hard on the recruiting front in hopes of building their roster out for the future.

On Thursday, the Buffs offered another player in the class of 2025, three-star wide receiver Emmanuel Choice.

Choice, who announced his offer on X, is listed at 6-4 and 190 pounds. The Lancaster, Texas product is ranked as the No. 58 WR in his class, according to the 247Sports Composite.

He also has offers from Georgia Tech, Houston, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Texas State and Texas, so several in-state schools have recruited him hard so far.

The Buffs’ 2025 recruiting class has suffered a few decommits, including four-star wide receiver Winston Watkins Jr., who was one of Coach Prime’s first big gets after he was hired.

Nonetheless, Boulder should be an appealing destination for Choice and other talented class of 2025 high school prospects.

Class of 2025 four-star cornerback Dawayne Galloway Jr. picks up Colorado offer

One of the top cornerbacks in next year’s recruiting class received an offer from Colorado

The offers keep on pouring out from the Colorado Buffaloes football program as big recruits continue to express interest in playing for head coach Deion Sanders.

One of the latest high school prospects to receive an offer from CU is class of 2025 cornerback Dawayne Galloway Jr. On Wednesday, the four-star recruit (247Sports) from Columbus, Ohio announced the offer on X.

Galloway plays at Marion-Franklin High School and has received offers from a large number of Power Five teams already, including Michigan, Georgia, Oklahoma, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M and others.

On3 is currently pegging Michigan as the favorite to land Galloway, but the appeal of playing for Coach Prime is always a big factor for defensive backs who are considering the Buffs.

Top-ranked 2025 QB Bryce Underwood to announce college commitment in early January

With Colorado in his top seven, No. 1 class of 2025 QB Bryce Underwood is set to announce his college commitment in early January

The Buffaloes have become regular contenders for some of the top recruits in the nation, and they just landed five-star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton in a massive recruiting grab.

Colorado is also one of the top seven schools for top-ranked class of 2025 quarterback Bryce Underwood, who visited Boulder for a game this past season.

Underwood is set to announce his college commitment on Jan. 6. Here are the final seven teams in the running for him:

The Buffs being listed with some of those other top programs is an indication of what head coach Deion Sanders has done during his short time in Boulder.

Underwood plays at Belleville High School in Michigan, but LSU is currently considered the favorite, according to 247Sports.

If Underwood commits to Colorado, he could be in line to start immediately in 2025 with Shedeur Sanders set to play his final college season this upcoming fall.

Colorado target Mantrez Walker names top 12 schools

Four-star linebacker Mantrez Walker dropped a list of the top schools he’s considering

After backing off his commitment to Michigan in September, Mantrez Walker’s recruitment appears wide open as we near the new year.

On Tuesday, the class of 2025 four-star (Rivals) linebacker announced a top 12 of Colorado, Arkansas, Louisville, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Penn State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and Stanford.

According to Rivals national recruiting analyst John Garcia Jr., Walker has unofficial visits to Louisville, Miami and Ole Miss scheduled within the next two months. Walker previously took an unofficial visit to Boulder in late September for Colorado’s home game against USC.

The 6-foot, 215-pound prospect recently wrapped his junior season at Buford High School, a Georgia powerhouse that Colorado has recruited heavily over the past few years. Walker had 54 total tackles and four TFLs this past fall, per MaxPreps.

Following the decommitments of quarterback Antwann Hill Jr., wide receiver Winston Watkins Jr. and running back Jamarice Wilder, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is currently without any 2025 pledges.

Three-star RB Jamarice Wilder becomes latest prospect to decommit from Colorado

Jamarice Wilder became the third prospect to decommit from Colorado this offseason

Now that Colorado’s 2023 football season is complete, the Buffs are in full offseason mode as head coach Deion Sanders continues to lay the program’s foundation.

Unfortunately, not all offseason news is good news. On Monday, the Buffs lost a commitment from class of 2025 running back Jamarice Wilder. The three-star prospect from Venice, Florida previously gave his pledge to Colorado in early August.

Wilder is the third decommitment for the Buffs since the season concluded on Saturday. Class of 2025 quarterback Antwann Hill Jr. and 2024 QB Danny O’Neil represent the other two.

Wilder’s decommitment now leaves Colorado without any class of 2025 pledges.

Hayes Fawcett of On3 was the first to report the news.

Four-star quarterback Antwann Hill Jr. decommits from Colorado

Four-star quarterback Antwann Hill Jr. is no longer a Colorado commit

Just about every college football program is dealing with decommits right now, but Colorado has now suffered three big blows since Nov. 12.

On Sunday, class of 2025 four-star quarterback Antwann Hill Jr. became the latest, joining 2025 wide receiver Winston Watkins Jr. and 2024 offensive lineman Talan Chandler. Hayes Fawcett of On3 was the first to break the news of Hill’s decommitment.

Hill, the No. 5 ranked QB in his class (247Sports Composite), had been committed to Colorado since Oct. 20.

As head coach Deion Sanders said last week, the Buffs are well aware that a commitment doesn’t mean much until the recruit signs. Fortunately, Colorado has plenty of time to find its 2025 quarterback.

The Buffs also still own a commitment from Danny O’Neil, a three-star 2024 quarterback who’s expected to sign in December before joining the program in January.
