Ever wonder who Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes feels is the toughest defender to face off against in the NFL?

Well, now we have an answer to that question.

Speaking to Complex Sports for a series of rapid-fire questions, Mahomes revealed the three hardest players that he’s gone against during the course of his NFL career. Surprisingly, all three players were on a Super Bowl-winning team together with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021.

“In my career? Aaron Donald is one,” Mahomes said. “That’s out of the gate. Jalen Ramsey. Jalen Ramsey, especially the last few years, has always been a dog. And Von Miller, I’m glad he’s not in my division anymore.”

It’s no surprise to see Miller on the list after having to put up with him in the AFC West for the first three seasons of his career. Donald and Ramsey have certainly had their battles with Mahomes. Donald most notably had that high-scoring “Monday Night Football” game against the Mahomes’ Chiefs back in 2018.

Mahomes also answered some other fun questions about pop culture, his teammates and more. Be sure to watch the full video at the top of the page.

Deebo Samuel on Philly being the team he hates the most; 49ers losing to Eagles with 10 players

49ers Deebo Samuel talks Eagles being the one team he hates the most and Philadelphia only winning the NFC title game because San Francisco had ten players

Deebo Samuel is not a fan of the Eagles, and as we inch closer to the 2023 NFL regular season, Philadelphia and San Francisco appear to be on a collision course.

Samuel was held to 33 yards on three catches in the 49ers’ 31-7 loss to the eventual NFC Champions.

Most of the conversation afterward centered around the road team having no available quarterbacks after Brock Purdy and Brian Johnson were knocked out of the game with injuries.

Philadelphia appeared in the Super Bowl, while San Francisco has spent the entire offseason lamenting what could have been.

Samuel was a recent guest on COMPLEX Sports with ZION OLOJEDE, and he made the below comments about the Eagles, their luck and other things on his mind.

‘I think we can reach really high heights’: Chet Holmgren talks Thunder’s future

In an interview with @ComplexSports , Chet Holmgren is high on OKC’s future.

In an interview with Complex, Chet Holmgren didn’t let up when talking about the Oklahoma City Thunder’s young core.

When asked about them reaching the heights of the Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden era, Holmgren absolutely believes the current Thunder can match their success, too.

“Obviously I believe in the players we have on this team, I believe in the coaching staff, I believe in the organization as a whole so the answer is an obvious yes. I think we can reach really high heights. At the end of the day, it’s going to come down what the guys in the locker decide to come together and achieve. It’s not going to be an overnight thing. We’re having early success, but just because we’re having success doesn’t make it easy for the next 10 years. We’re still going to have to work hard and work through different challenges. That’s something that we’ll strive to do. We got a lot of high-quality characters in our locker room so I’m excited to get out there and work with those guys.

These are some pretty high standards to set. The Thunder were one of the most successful teams in the league during the 2010s because of that trio. The Thunder made four Western Conference finals and one NBA Finals appearances in a six-year span that decade.

The Thunder drafting three consecutive MVPs is a feat that’ll likely never be repeated, but it’s music to fans’ ears to hear Holmgren think the Thunder can have a similar run of success of being a title contender for several seasons.

With how the Thunder have played this season, it’s hard not to think that. They are in the midst of an unexpected playoff push with the youngest roster in the league after being projected to land a top lottery pick. The Thunder are doing this without a single top-five pick on their roster.

The full Complex article can be read here. I’d strongly recommend reading it if you haven’t already. It’s a great interview by Holmgren as he continues to rehab from his season-ending Lisfranc injury.
