The Colts entered the 4th quarter of their season opener at the Houston Texans down 20-3, but rallied to tie the game and force overtime. However, PK Rodrigo Blankenship missed a 42-yard attempt in extra time to secure the victory and when the dust settled things were still all square.

QB Matt Ryan was 32-for-50 for 352 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT in his Indy debut. RB Jonathan Taylor, who led the league in rushing yards last season, had 161 yards on 31 carries. Breakout star WR Michael Pittman Jr. added 121 yards on 9 catches, including the teams’ final TD.

The Jaguars had a 2nd half rally of their own, but they let a small lead disappear in the final 2 minutes of play as they fell 28-22 at the Washington Commanders.

Second-year QB Trevor Lawrence (24-for-42, 275 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) clicked with new WR Christian Kirk. The former Arizona Cardinal, the big free-agent signing for the Jags, led all receivers with 117 yards on 6 catches from 12 targets. RB James Robinson paced the backfield with 11 carries for 66 yards and 1 TD.

The Indianapolis Colts (9-7) wrap up the regular season on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-14) Sunday in Week 18. Kickoff from TIAA Bank Field is set for 1 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Colts vs. Jaguars odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.

The Colts lost at home in Week 17 to the Las Vegas Raiders 23-20 on a field goal as timed expired as they managed only 262 yards of offense. The Colts control their playoff destiny and will punch their ticket to the postseason with a win in their regular-season finale over the Jaguars.

The Jaguars lost their eighth game in a row on Sunday when they were blown out 50-10 by the New England Patriots in Week 17. QB Trevor Lawrence threw 3 interceptions and the defense gave up 4 rushing touchdowns to the Patriots and 3 passing touchdowns to QB Mac Jones.

Colts at Jaguars head-to-head

The Colts won their first matchup this season, a 23-17 home victory in Week 10. The Jaguars defense played well and only allowed 295 yards to the Colts, but Indy scored a touchdown on special teams on a blocked punt returned for a touchdown and RB Jonathan Taylor ran for 116 yards and a touchdown.
