The Colorado State Rams (21-3, 11-3 MWC) meet the UNLV Rebels (15-11, 7-6) Saturday night in Las Vegas. The Mountain West contest at the Thomas & Mack Center is slated to tip off at 8 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Colorado State vs. UNLV odds and lines, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.
A hot-shooting Colorado State bunch is 5-0 on the strength of a 49.4% mark from the floor in February. And CSU went into the last week of January on a five-game run, but it lost back-to-back games — one at home and one on the road — before starting its run this month. The first of those losses came in Fort Collins, Colo., against these UNLV Rebels.
UNLV won that first meeting (Jan. 28) 88-74. The Rebels banged home a dozen 3-pointers in that game and have a robust 41.3% from distance in their last six games. The Rebs shoot 3s at a top-100 rate, so the uptick in accuracy has gone a long way. UNLV is 4-2 over that span and overall has won three in a row at home.

Colorado State at UNLV odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Colorado State 76, UNLV 71
Money line
There’s not much value for Colorado State in this revenge game at -200. PASS.
Against the spread
The Rams are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games against teams over-.500 at home. In the last nine games of this series, the road team is 6-2-1 ATS.
Nevada-Las Vegas G Bryce Hamilton, who averages 21.5 points per game. went off for 42 points when these teams met three weeks ago. Hamilton went wild from distance, knocking down seven treys.
The revenge-minded Rams have a lot to play for down the stretch, with MWC title and big-dance hopes very much alive. Peg meeting No. 1 as an outlier. TAKE COLORADO STATE -4.5 (-105). The lean is a small one based on the spread, which has gone up; consider waiting out a -3.5 play.
Over/Under
The last two CSU-UNLV games hit the Over and did so with a combined 37 points to spare. With both offenses clicking, TAKE THE OVER 142.5 (-110) in this one.
