- Paddack has allowed at least six earned runs in two of his past three outings, including six runs, eight hits and two homers given up over five innings in a loss against the Seattle Mariners Tuesday in his last start.

Moneyline (ML)
The PADRES (-162) are just 2-3 against the Rockies (+145) this season, all at Coors Field. Despite that, San Diego is facing a rookie pitcher while they have one of their top hurlers on the hill. Paddack is much better than his overall numbers indicate. While an assignment at Coors Field is a tough place for a pitcher to right the ship, he will, and the Padres will be victorious in the third of this four-game set.
