The D continues to lead the NFL against the run – KC has only averaged 70 yards per game on the ground over the last three.

It’s a game for the fantasy tight end gods to shine. Rob Gronkowski is a shadow of his former self, but Kelce is on a heater with three straight 100-yard games with two touchdowns. Targeted 34 times over the three weeks, he’s looking as healthy and fast as ever, and he’s taking advantage of defenses worrying about all the other parts.

What’s Going To Happen

Can Tampa Bay really lose three games in four weeks – and all three at home? Yup.

The offense isn’t sharp enough, it’s not pushing the ball down the field like it needs to, and all the parts aren’t meshing like they should be. The defense is still amazing, and the offense will keep up for a while, but Kansas City’s offense is too good, too versatile, and too explosive.

In one of the weirdest NFL things ever, Denver doesn’t have a quarterback as the entire group is dealing with coronavirus issues. That means it’s either going to be RB Royce Freeman, WR Kendall Hinton, and anyone else who wants to give it a try.

The Broncos run defense will have to hold up, but it got hammered by Las Vegas for over 200 yards and by the Chargers for 210 within the last four games. New Orleans has one of the NFL’s best rushing attacks and is No. 2 against the run.

Why Denver Broncos Will Win

The pressure is all on the New Orleans side.

Hinton wasn’t a bad quarterback in his time at Wake Forest, but he’s not going to be any sort of a normal passer. He can run, Freeman can operate out of certain packages, and the D will have to do the rest.

Taysom Hill threw for 233 yards in last week’s win over Atlanta, but he’ll be under constant pressure against a defense that’s great at getting off the field.

That’s exactly what you want. Hill threw accurately enough to get by, pitched two touchdown passes, and was automatic around the goal line with two scoring runs. He now becomes a must-play on his TD potential on the ground alone, and he’s more accurate a passer than he gets credit for.

Can Denver possibly pull this off?

In a strange way, there’s an advantage – New Orleans has no way to gameplan for whatever offense will be thrown its way. However, there won’t be much of a Bronco passing game, and the Saints will be way too good against the run to not control this rom the start.

The Jacksonville passing game has failed to hit 160 yards in three of the last four games, and now this week the Browns get a break with Mike Glennon taking over the quarterback duties. There’s a nothing-to-lose sort of thing for the Jaguars, but they can’t push the ball down the field and they’re on a nine-game losing streak with the league’s second-worst defense and no offense to make up for it.

The Browns ground game should do what it wants to.

Why Jacksonville Jaguars Will Win

What’s working for the Jaguars? The run defense hasn’t been bad, but that’s because everyone is busy throwing the ball – they have to hold up now against the Brown attack.

There isn’t enough of a passing game to worry about – the Browns have failed to hit 200 yards in the last three games and in four of the last five games. If Glennon can somehow play loose and not worry about taking shots down the field, he should have a few good moments against a questionable secondary.

How much will Kareem Hunt be a part of the equation? He only has one rushing touchdown in the last six games, but he ran for 104 yards against Houston. Chubb is back from injury with two straight 100-yard games, and he should make it three this week – but will he get the ball around the goal line?

What’s Going To Happen

Jacksonville is struggling through the season but it played Houston and Green Bay close before getting rocked by Pittsburgh. This won’t be a total Cleveland wipeout, but it’ll be close as the running game takes over early and dominates in a fourth win in five games.

Last week he came off the bench against Denver and threw a late pick, but now that it’s his team again, 300 yards and multiple scoring passes should be a lock.

New York will play better than the first time around, but the Dolphins will get a good day from the defense, Fitzpatrick will be solid, and it’ll be a second win over the Jets in a month.

Arizona is leaking oil, losing two of the last three games when the offense didn’t quite play like its normal self and the D started to struggle after a great midseason stretch.

New England will grind it out and will be the difference with a great day from several parts. Expect 175 Patriot rushing yards and an inspired day from the defensive front.
